Welcome to Stories Come to Life. I am your host, Kathryn Lopez Luker. During this time of Covid, many people aren’t able to use the library in the same way as in the past. Now Janey is going to the Camp Miller school, in the cotton camp. She wishes she could go to the regular school, to belong to the regular school, but one consolation is that Miss Peterson, the teacher at the camp school, must certainly be the most wonderful teacher in the world! And then there is the county cotton picking contest. Janey hopes and hopes that Dad will win!
