Welcome to Stories Come to Life. I am your host, Kathryn Lopez Luker. During this time of Covid, many people aren’t able to use the library in the same way as in the past. The money in the buckskin bag is running low,  and the Larkin family must move on from the little shack while they still have enough to buy gasoline and other necessities as Dad looks for work someplace else.  Janey decides she just has to see the willow plate once more.  So she slips out and makes her way to the Anderson ranch to say goodbye before they leave.
