Today I talk about a precious ability that God has towards us. The bible tells us that God chooses to become forgetful when it comes to our sins. Many of us allow the enemy to use our memory of our pass to cause us to shy away from GOD. We also are admonish not to remember our pass.

Isaiah 43:18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past… I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”

The bible tells us what God does with our sins. In this episode we look at them.

Why are you serving God? We have been hearing the prosperity message for so many years that many feel that if they're not prospering with material things they become discourage and live in weak faith. This message is to encourage you.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 “Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.”

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

There are two kinds of righteousness:

Imputed Righteousness – Salvation – Christ’s righteousness – saves me from the eternal punishment of my sin

Personal Righteousness – Sanctification – my own righteousness, own goodness. Obtained by walking in faith

Romans 3 :21-22 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is manifested, being witnessed by the prophets. 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference.

2 Corinthians 5: 17 For he hath made him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Philippians 3 :9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God b~ faith.
