In this rant, I continue the topic of the "Enemies of our faith". Today we talk about Unbelief.  The Greek meaning of the English word unbelief is faithlessness, unfaithfulness, disobedience, obstinacy, and rebelliousness.  The root word means "unpersuadable"

This morning's rant is a continuation of the enemies of our faith. Today I wanted to spend some more time focusing on the "lack of understanding" It is very important that we study the word of God so that you and I can gain understanding before we're able to stand and fight. If you don't have an understanding of what you're fighting for how can you win and hold your ground.  Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast refused knowledge, I will also refuse thee, that thou shalt be no Priest to me: and seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

However, the bible also states that we would be delivered through knowledge.
Proverbs 11:9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

In this morning's rant, I began my talk about the enemies of our faith.  I intend to help you understand the enemies of your faith and how to defeat them.  Faith is our responsibility in the process of salvation. You are saved from anything. Ephesians 2:8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Without Jesus there's no way man can get to God the father.  Jesus makes a chilling statement that has rocked the world and all of it's religions, religious ways, teachings, belief, spiritualist, spiritualism and all mystical practices and teachings.    “I am the way and the truth and the life. I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers.  The inference here is anyone coming after me is also a "thief and robber"

John 14:5-6 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

John 10:7-10 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

This morning's rant is about the condition of America and how it resembles the crumbling of an empire. When the people are corrupt their leaders will also be corrupt, because the leaders are a reflection of the people.
