In this episode of Blunt Force Discussion Anthony sat down digitally with Shemane Nugent, who is a yuge #BFD bigtime, and not just as Ted Nugent’s wife, but she has built a brand around herself that truly is there to help people. She’s an amazing woman and a phenomenal interview.

Shemane and I both have similar opinions on the direction on this country, but we share something a bit more personal. Her family has been the victim on severe mold poisoning, as has my mother. We shared stories, and also the overall effect of mold poisoning is far more prevalent than we realize. We have rights to the building of our homes and even more so… this isn’t just for the lower classes, it can happen to anyone. If you have health problems that aren’t matching up mold can be the cause.

Mold poisoning can also lead to more and more issues that can be linked to severe illness’ that most people would be shocked to know. Mold can essentially exacerbate illness that have gone unseen. Also, often #moldpoisoning can go undiagnosed and doctors end up baffled.

We did have a little fun too, talking about how her and Ted met in #detroit and how she turned him down when he asked her out on a date.

We also hit the tough subject of #abortion and #prolife vs #prochoice.

In this episode of Blunt Force Discussion Anthony had the honor and pleasure to sit down with his girlfriend... AKA the backup since Jaco Booyens got pushed to next week. She's even more honored to be the back up of the back up. This episode is probably the first of many, and it is quite funny if I may say so myself.

Kelly Allen is a professional Barrel Racer and Horse Trainer and the girlfriend of the host of #BFD, Anthony Russo. They talk about their journey to finding each other, and their belief that everything happens for a reason. They talk a bit about politics and belief systems.

They also have a lot of playful banter explain the good, the bad and the ugly of their relationship. Kelly talks about her childhood in barrel racing, how she got into it, and if she would still be in the horse industry if she won this week’s mega millions for a billion.

She talks about who she thinks is currently the best barrel racer in the world between Hailey Kinsel and Jordan Briggs. We also talked about what she wants out of her life and the things she loves and also “dislikes” about me.

We truly have a funny story on how we met and reconnected because of a baby on our lap and a love for #Fanniepacks. Anthony also gives a life lesson to always take a cell picture of a hotel room number if you have to go downstairs and take a #2.

We get serious for a bit and talk about depression and that families need to remember how much love matters, and that kids are always watching.

Former LEO Jordan Nelson finally gets to share his story on what happened in December of 2013 in Kansas City, MO while arresting a suspect that had just tried to break into a 92 year old woman’s house and was high on PCP. The suspect although not attacking was not compliant and he swept his leg and a team of police officers arrested him in under 30 seconds. Unfortunately for the man he busted his lip while face planting from the trip.

Several years had gone by, and Jordan had taken another job outside of Law Enforcement. A ambulance chaser law firm decided to pick up the case that had already been turned down by the 6 time felon.

In his first time speaking out, Jordan tells his side of the story that was a NON-ISSUE for 5 years and even considered a textbook arrest during his career. Because of the rise in the Social Justice Warrior movement he was put under a microscope by local news and the ACLU that turned this case into a “police brutality” example. They ignored that the criminal had just tried breaking into a 92 year old woman’s house and yelled he was God. The dispatcher messaged that he was high and disorderly. The rest of the story unfolds on the episode with a full explanation.

We also cover the world of policing across the board and everything wrong in this country. We discussing the thin blue line and why it’s important to also call out bad cops.

On a lighter note we talk about my mustache compared to his beard as well.

In this episode of Blunt Force Discussion Anthony sits down virtually with Brandon Tatum to talk about the misinformation in Uvalde and the police response. We discuss the failures, as well as the facts surrounding the school shooting. This is not as cut and dry and people have made it out to be as the police are again demonized.

We look at actual facts relating to the police response and use logic instead of emotion to discuss the mistakes and errors on the day. We look at the lack of training, poor leadership and misinformation from the media. We talk about all the mistakes made that day from the school locks, to the gun store owner.

Officer Tatum has been getting a massive amount of flack lately in relation to what has been deemed as him going too lightly on the police officers in Uvalde, and we discuss the difference in the concept of an abject failure and cowardice. We explain why certain decisions were made and why decisions weren’t. We also talk about how classroom doors are not just like every other door to our house making them impenetrable.

We also start the conversation talking about how he was a football player for University of Arizona and how he got into policing, then how he got into political commentary and why we are even talking to him today. He explained how Blexit started with Candace Owens and how their relationship with Turning Point assisted in the movement they created.

Brandon now has a new role as radio host of a nationally syndicated show previously hosted by Larry Elder as well. I hope you get as much out of this episode from an educational standpoint on policing as I did.

People keep talking about having these difficult conversations, when in all reality I can’t find a single one in regards to Roe v. Wade. It’s all puff pieces, echo chambers and judgement filled slam fests.

The truth is, it is my mission to have conversations that most won’t have, most don’t have and most “think” they are attempting. The idea, in this instance goes beyond “Roe v Wade.” It is much more than that. It is an ideology rooted in personal experience, scientific beliefs, and religion. It is a conversation that questions what is life, when does life begin, and what is the true concept of self-responsibility. When someone is pro-Life does that also mean they are fighting for the choice of the “unborn.”

This is not a crystal clear discussion. This is much more than that. This is a conversation that delves deep into the human psyche and morality of the individual. People have been playing the game that ignores what creates civility and this conversation puts a stop to the notion that you can’t find a way to agree to disagree about opinions on abortion. We have one strong pro choice republican on the panel, one pro-life female that was almost aborted and one right leaning independent male that is very pro-life. This truly was a great conversation that had a little bit of every ideology represented.

In this episode Anthony sits down with Marie Cosgrove, a pro-life professional speaker and resilience expert, LaDale Buggs, a pro-life financial expert and BJ Antweil, a pro-choice republican realtor. It’s a fascinating range of beliefs that cam together to have a blunt conversation about abortion.
