Imagine if PLAVE was a vocal-only group and didn't do choreography like they originally planned. Sure, they'd probably still be amazing, but we wouldn't be able to make part three of The PLAVE Episode be entirely focused on praising their choreography and dancing! We're having a casual discussion where we talk about why we love PLAVE's choreography and everything that makes it so unique!

Yes, we were supposed to also discuss content in this episode but PLAVE's choreography is just too good that we once again got carried away and ran out of time so stay tuned for part 4 where we'll discuss PLAVE content!

Check out part 1 of The PLAVE Episode where we share our origin stories here: https://youtu.be/vnruiORB6UI

Check out part 2 of The PLAVE Episode where we praise their vocals here: https://youtu.be/pbaNJ39A3To

We've got some classic favorites like NCT DREAM and IVE and some recent favorites like CLOSE YOUR EYES and VIVIZ to discuss in this episode! Enjoy hearing our thoughts on some July 2025 Kpop comebacks

Comment your favorite July 2025 Kpop comebacks!

We missed the chance to talk about some of the July releases & promoted B-sides of the groups we do mention because they didn't come out until after we recorded the episode :') If there are any comebacks we didn't mention this episode, we may review them in our year-end roundup so subscribe if you want so you don't miss out!

Howdy Meowers! Welcome to BlushCat's 2nd Kpop Open Mic Night! Devin and returning host Smelt take the mic to update their review on some recent Kpop comebacks like CRAVITY, fromis_9, and PLAVE. There is brief discussion about Boys II Planet, some newly debuted groups, and whatever else we decide to bring up because after all, anything goes when it's Kpop Open Mic Night!

Side note: Things move so fast in the Kpop world that some of the things we say in this episode already seem outdated/we've learned more information since we recorded :')

Stay tuned for part 2 where we'll discuss PLAVE songs and vocals! (Spoiler alert but we get so carried away talking about their vocals that we don't get around to discussing choreography or content like we said we would in this episode. You'll just have to wait until part 3!)

You may have heard us briefly mention many of these comebacks already in our mid year Kpop favorites episode like the releases from ARTMS, PLAVE, and ITZY, but now it's time to properly review them along with some other Kpop comebacks that happened in June! Tell us your favorites from the month in the comments!

Also, we recorded this episode a little before the bulk of promotions for some of these comebacks happened, so some of our comments might seem outdated. We may re-visit some of these soon like the CRAVITY and Fromis_9 comebacks so stay tuned for future episodes :)
