It's a great privilege to be here and today I'd be doing a worship medley and the song says "

Declaring that we love God is not supposed to be complicated. We simply start saying, “I love you” as we turn our attention towards him for a moment or two. Whenever I do so I find it helpful to recall some reason I love God, his goodness, the beauty of the world, a kindness I recently received. “God is the creator of everything I love.” Just repeat that to yourself, “God is the creator of everything I love.”

Reminding yourself that God is the one who brought into existence the very things you love is a wonderful reminder to your soul of the intimacy between God’s heart and yours. You love the same things! Did you know that? Close friends love the same things; lovers love the same things.

As you go through your normal day, practice saying “I love you” to God. Not once, but repeating it as you turn your heart toward him. Saying “I love you” either out loud or quietly in the sanctuary of our inner life, causes our heart to follow him. Our being begins to enter into the act of loving. We turn our thoughts towards him, our Father, or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. We turn towards him in the pauses of our day.

In loving him, we are able to receive him. As we receive him, we realize again how wonderful he truly is. Our heart enlarges for him, our union is strengthened, and we can receive more of him.

Hello everybody. Welcome to @afri-tunes week 185. It's been an exciting journey so far with this community and a big shout-out to the moderators for keeping this initiative going.

For this week entry I'd be doing a medley of a Hausa worship song title Ko Ina yesu na, which means my Jesus everywhere.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. God's promise that "I will never leave you nor forsake you" is found in multiple books of the Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments. With this promise, we can be assured that He is always with us and encouraged to always be with God in faith and spirit. No matter our past, we can always repent and return to God's loving mercy and grace. Let us give thanks for God's glorious love and compassion for us.

Hello amigos welcome to week 41 of the vibes web3 music competition. I'd be doing a song cover of 28 by Ruth B.

28 by Ruth B and Dean Lewis talks about the struggles of moving on in a relationship that doesn't seem to work. Ruth B verse tells the story of how she lost so much of herself in trying to be with her partner. She start the song with put you first just like you wanted, showing that she made sacrifices for her partner as the words you wanted in that verse shows that for her, it was all about his happiness. This is evident at the end of the first verse where she mentions "I almost threw it all away", which shows that she's given her everything for the relationship to work.

The chorus goes even deeper as she mentions I guess I had to lose you on the way to finding me, showing that at this point she already recognizes that love wasn't enough for them to work out. This is usually seen in many toxic relationships with one partner almost loosing themselves to the relationship, luckily Ruth B claims she recognized that part of her healing was to let him go.

Throughout history, no single promise has captured the hearts and minds of Christians more than the glorious return of Jesus Christ. From the moment He ascended into heaven, believers have looked forward with eager anticipation to that great day when their Savior will return in power and glory. This blessed hope continues to sustain, comfort, and motivate Christians across the globe as they navigate an increasingly turbulent world.

The foundation of our hope in Christ's second coming rests firmly on His own promises. In John 14:3, Jesus assured His disciples, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." This wasn't a vague possibility but a definitive promise from the Son of God Himself.

Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus spoke repeatedly about His return. In Matthew 24 and 25, He provided detailed descriptions of the signs that would precede His coming and the manner of His return. He spoke of coming "on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matthew 24:30), establishing the dramatic and unmistakable nature of this future event

David calls the Lord “my hiding place’ (Psalm 32:7; 119:14), and his Psalms are rich with the imagery of being hidden in the Lord (17:8; 31:20). David often had need for a tangible hiding place when he was persecuted, but with the eyes of faith he could see that his true spiritual solace came only from the Lord Himself. David’s other metaphors for God (shield, tower, fortress) picture His protection, but “a hiding place” is different. It is a secret and private refuge, shared by no one else, away from the world and its turmoil. It is where a believer can go to find rest for the mind and spirit in the privacy of personal communion with the living God.

People often talk of “getting away” when the pressures and worries of life become great, and they devise all kinds of temporary escapes from their stressful routines. There are a thousand different ways that people try to hide themselves from the cares of this world, hoping that they will be better equipped to deal with them after a little time away. The need for an occasional vacation is one thing, but there is a real spiritual need that corresponds with this notion of “getting away.” At times, the believer does need to take flight from the world, but this is not a flight away from reality with false hopes of escaping it. Instead, it is a flight back to the one most basic reality of all. We have the privilege of fleeing to the Lord Himself as our hiding place.
