This song is a of speak or tell what the youths of this generation are going through, police brutality has become a norm in Nigeria, you can be harassed by a police officer just by dressing on expensive clothes and using expensive phone. They gon just picture you as a fraud

Hive open mic weekly concert has always given me room to get better every day, glad to see you guys here again, I'm @bmhillel and today I'd be doing a freestyle but I will chip in a line from my brother song @morentis to the freestyle.

Music has always been a part of me but whenever I see myself hop on a freestyle I the become proud of myself, I think this should be the second time I'm hopping on to a beat for freestyle.

When you believe in yourself and in what you do without waiting for applause from anybody, you'd see yourself soaring higher regardless.

Your number one fan should be you, no one has the right words, the right applause to keep you on track. Be proud of what you do invest your time and finances just to get better regardless.

God have been good right before time began and He's still good till date.

The biblical reality is that no matter the circumstances you go through, good things are always coming for you. As long as we are following Jesus, the best is always yet to come. John Piper has said, “For those in Christ, it is only a matter of time until it is only joy.” As believers we believe God is working everything for our ultimate joy and happiness in eternity in heaven with Him, however we also have good Scriptural reason to believe good things are always coming here on earth as well.

Whenever you face difficulty or disappointment, you can trust that God will soon bring something good out of it. Begin to view everything you face in life through the filter of God’s goodness and favor over your life. Scripture tells us to receive God’s Kingdom as a little child. What does a small child with an amazing parent know that we sometimes forget? They trust their good parent completely, and have no fear. We can trust our perfect Father in heaven completely. Everything He does for us comes out of His amazing love. He will take care of us.

Psalm 23 tells us where God wants to lead each of us – to a place of rest.

It doesn’t shy away from difficulty as it also says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me” (Psalm 23:4). Even when you go through dark moments in your life, you won’t go through them alone, and you don’t need to fear. Scripture doesn’t promise you won’t go through dark valleys, but it does promise you won’t go through them alone. Let me also add that there is something so precious about the presence of God you experience in seasons of adversity and pain. Not only is God with you, but He overwhelms you with His grace and mercy in a way you will never forget.

Hello everyone, welcome to praise and Worship week 69, I go by the name @bmhillel and today I'd be doing an original song titled Your way.

Shoutout to my friend and brother @danielkuye who wrote a verse on this worship about 5years back 🙌

I got the chorus from the place of prayer, then I asked Daniel to play a keyboard for me to sing the song, while after singing he asked if that's all I said 'yea' and he said he'd like to put a verse to the song which he did and we sang it together. The plan was to take the song to the studio but mhennnn we were student then we barely have enough to eat talk more of affording a studio fee, but I'm glad the song is still here.

The song is actually an invitation to the Lord to have is way in our life, and I pray that we all let God have his way in our lives in Jesus name. Amen.

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog and to @hiveopemmic weekly concert, for this week entry I'd be doing a worship medley by fountain of life choir.

Does God mean everything to you? I mean, everything? I don’t know about anyone else, but as of late, I’m feeling more tired of this earth than ever before. Tired of all the pain, suffering, crime, and overall craziness. There is so much brokenness and sadness. War, strife, and everything else that is going on down here—I’m just sick of it. Not to mention the personal spiritual struggles. Paul said it right, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our body” (2 Corinthians 4:8-10).

Strangely enough, there is purpose in all of the madness. When we go deep into our own life experiences, I believe God wants us to see the futility of trying to get through life down here without Him. Nothing else satisfies.

I had to learn a very hard personal lesson about this. I believe that God will teach every true follower that nothing will quench the thirst of the human soul other than a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It will have to be more than a checklist—a daily “checking off the boxes” of all the things that you believe you “should” do. God will take each of us through a series of events that will test our allegiance. Everyone is different, so the scenarios will be as unique as each one of us

For the week entry I'd be doing a worship medley which compromise of two hausa songs. The first song is Sarki salama which means "king of peace", while the second song is Kai ka dai which means "You alone"

In Isaiah’s prophecy about the coming Messiah, he says:

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

The Greek word eirene means “unity and accord”; Paul uses eirene to describe the objective of the New Testament church. But the deeper, more foundational meaning of peace is “the spiritual harmony brought about by an individual’s restoration with God.

Yee let's have some throwback

Couple of months back my elder sister asked me to help paint her newly rented apartment. Knowing fully well that I have no experience in painting field. I tried every possible best to say no. Yet my sister was very persistent, she eventually won me over. I then agreed to do the painting.

To some extent painting was really hard. To me the work was physically demanding, and I kind of struggled to keep up. But nahhhhhhh I encourage myself not to give up. At the end of the day I was proud and happy that I completed the work. The apartment did look great even though it was a simple design. I'm glad I did make it happen.

The next day I had a bit of challenge. My body ached all over from the painting work. I did wondered how I was going to get through the say. The body ach was so intense to the point I had to get pain relief.

Though the discomfort held me down a bit, yet I'm glad I did help my sister out.I actually learned that hard work and is important.

And yes I got about three different clients who want me to paint there apartment after seeing that of my sister😂
