Matt grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and graduated from Beloit College in 2013.  He has lived in Spain, Boston, St. Maarten in the Caribbean, and now San Diego and started investing remotely in multi-family properties in Wisconsin in 2018.  Since then he's focused on growing a short term rental portfolio with 7 properties in Nashville, Scottsdale, Wisconsin and San Diego.  He met his business partner, Craig Gerulski, at a real estate meetup in San Diego and they combined their knowledge to start a property management business at the end of 2019.  After persevering through some initial struggles during Covid, they have now built a 7 figure business, left their W-2 jobs, and plan to leverage their hospitality expertise to acquire hotels around the country.

Elizabeth began house hacking in 2016 prior to knowing the proper term. In 2018, She bought her first investment property, a historic home in Augusta, GA with a carriage house in the back yard. After minor renovations and furnishing, she rented the home doing mid-term rentals while re-designing, completely renovating, and furnishing the carriage house. In 2019, She bought a quadplex and did cosmetic renovations keeping with the same formula of mid-term furnished rentals. The Broad street quadplex has been the most recent acquisition in December, 2023 which she also renovated, furnished, and rented. In addition, she has managed a beach condo for short term rentals and various other properties for friends and family. It’s been my privilege to host guests from all over the world including India, Sri Lanka, Iran, Canada, Brazil, various countries in Africa, and others.

Gary was Born and raised in Southwest Colorado, he was the youngest of 4 and brought up in real estate. From the time he had any memory, he was trained to keep his house ready for showings and he was constantly moving from house to house as each one sold. His Dad started his own brokerage when he was about 5yrs old, which grew in to 5 separate offices in a short time. His younger years have countless memories of looking at houses, sending faxes, and free labor bringing curb appeal to the new listings! He was often hired out after the sale to help new owners with any grunt work needed!

Later in his teen years he fell in love with construction. He pursued this career for 20yrs with most of those years in Florida, in the new home construction industry. After he had achieved what most would consider the top level of success he found myself questioning what it was all for. He left his financially successful career in 2018 and went back to the real estate world he had grown up in. He explored a lot of different avenues in real estate and accidentally fell in to the vacation rental market. When he realized the financial gains and more importantly, the freedom time it provided, there was no going back! He currently has 11 listings on Airbnb/VRBO and also does some real estate deals on the side. He uses his time as he sees fit and vacation rentals allows him the freedom to choose what he wants to do.

Michael has over 20 years experience in residential and commercial real estate ranging from single family homes, multi-family, commercial warehousing, and self storage. With just under 300 deals under his belt, Michael began his career in new construction and is still building homes today. Just a little differently. In 2016, Michael and wife Teah moved into short term rentals by converting one of their duplexes. They never looked back and began building unique short term rentals in 2020. since 2001, including single-family homes, office buildings,
apartment complexes, raw land, mixed-used commercial
developments, and construction. Ed has a science and business educational background with a BS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Ed has an IT and business background having grown and sold a Software and Consulting company founded in 1993 and sold in 1996. It specialized in the Aerospace and Mortgage industries. Bethany has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Public Health degree with the area of concentration in Epidemiology. She also has a real estate license.Ed and Bethany live in Lafayette Georgia and have five children ranging from 24 to 10. Bethany has homeschooled their five children.  Ed and Bethany love the mountain areas and activities like hiking.Ed and Bethany decided to take the plunge into short term rentals this past year partnering with Rich and the BNB Investing Program.
