But first, we discuss our question of the week: Have you purchased or avoided purchasing a game solely because of the theme? Did you ever regret the decision?

And then in our feature, we look at 6 games on Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms that are blowing up right now.

This week we have a brand new feature, in which we look at the various versions, expansions, and promos for some of the biggest games out there and tell you the unequivocal, best (seriously, we know our stuff!) version of that game. This week, Ticket to Ride.

But first, we discuss our question of the week: What makes your favorite game fun? Is it a unique mechanic? The feeling it gives you at the table? A special memory?

In acquisition disorders this week Anthony looks at Paladins of the West Kingdom: City of Crowns and Chris looks at Tapestry: Plans and Ploys.

At the table this week, we're getting digital with reviews of Root and Cartographers from Anthony and Roll for the Galaxy and Monster Train from Chris.

Finally, in the feature, Anthony and Chris dig into many of the best expansions for Ticket to Ride and highlight the best versions of the all-time classic.

This week we're going down the rabbit hole, looking at 12 games that we've collected incessantly, why we've done it and whether those extras, expansions, and promos will ever actually get played.

But first, we discuss our question of the week: What's the most replayable game you can recommend for less than $40?

In acquisition disorders this week Anthony looks at CloudAge - the newest game from Alexander Pfister coming later this year - and Chris looks at Hamburg and Amsterdam, the first two games in the Stefan Feld Collection, on Kickstarter now.

At the table this week, Anthony gives his initial impressions of Tekhenu, the newest release from Daniele Tascini and David Turczi, and Anthony and Chris both look at Fort - the newest from Leder Games.

Finally, in the feature, Anthony and Chris dig into 12 games and game systems for which they've collected almost everything and what those mega-collections look like.
