However, its numerous built-in fallacies, contradictions and failings are unfortunately little discussed in much of the current literature, and it has acquired the status of an unchallengeable dogma and an obvious fact (VII p. 2). And B) Is it ever justified to intentionally kill an innocent human being? 3. In your opinion, when does life begin? It's not opinion. It's biology. At fertilization, also long referred to as conception, when the 23 chromosomes of the father combine with the 23 chromosomes of the mother and there is a new living human being. By the way, to lie to women, pharmaceutical companies worked with the abortion industry to redefine "conception" to mean "implantation" so that they could refer to mechanical or chemical abortifacients (like the IUD or the Morning After Pill) as contra-ception, instead of what they are, chemical abortifacients. (The IUD works by killing the tiniest children after they are conceived; the manufacturer says of the Morning After Pill that it has two mechanisms: it might prevent fertilization, but if it doesn't, then, like the IUD, it's made the uterine wall inhospitable and causes a spontaneous abortion so that the mother flushes her very young baby down the toilet. Also of course, human beings don't reproduce pigeons or pigs, but human offspring, children. The unborn baby is not a part of the mom. Half the time he's a boy, with a Y chromosome. And the baby has his or her own DNA, appendages, brain, etc. If the baby is a "part" of the mother's body, then every college level anatomy textbook that omits the baby as part of the mother would be incomplete. The body in her body is not her body. 4. If a life begins at the fetus stage, then abortion would be considered as murder. What kind of punishment do you believe women who get abortions should receive? Life for life. Also, life doesn't begin at the fetus stage. A molecular biology course on reproduction can easily correct that notion. When God the Son humbled Himself, that was a change. (Humble is a change word.) When He took upon Himself a human nature, that was a change. He has become the "Son of Man." He was not eternally the "Son of Man" (His favorite title for Himself) because Man was not eternal. The Incarnation was real. God the Son becoming flesh was a change.
