Bob Enyart Live

Catch RSR's Best of 2023 Bloopers!  Watch Fred & Doug, and occasional guest host Ryan Williams, flub some lines or just having fun behind the scenes during show production. This show is only available on RSR's YouTube Channel.  Be sure to watch until the end credits for a tribute to the RSR staff.     This week Fred and Doug welcome scientist and creation researcher Sal Cordova, a bio-molecular physics researcher. He has published with the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, Springer/Nature, Oxford University Press, and Creation Research Society Quarterly. His Christian testimony, life story, and advocacy of Intelligent Design (ID) appeared in the journal Nature. He was featured on national TV, radio, magazines and in the 2008 motion picture "Expelled". He presently holds five degrees: an MS in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins, a BS in Computer Science, BS Electrical Engineering with a minor in Music, BS in Mathematics with a minor in Physics, an unaccredited MS equivalent in Biology. Sal is presently preparing to enter a doctoral program in Engineering, and graduated Dulles Aviation flight school.  He was a senior engineer and scientist in the aerospace and defense industry at MITRE (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Research and Engineering) and Army Night Vision Labs. He worked for Cornell genetic engineer John C. Sanford in areas of population genetics and protein biology.   Debatable Evolutionary Biology: Watch Sal Debate the lowest order of all "scientists", (and we're sure he's a fine and decent man, Dan, the  evolutionary biologist)!   Keeping Up with the Joneses: Hear the breaking news regarding the implosion of evolutionary theory because of gene loss, (from the world of population genetics)!   Pick Up a Fellow Worker's Book: Be sure to pick up a copy of John Sanford's ground breaking book "Genetic Entropy!."   High End Reading List: Pick up a copy, (or two!) of the $1,000.00 book for which William Basener, Salvador Cordova, Ola Hössjer, and John Sanford contributed the chapter: Dynamical Systems and Fitness Maximization in Evolutionary Biology!

Genesis-Creation: A rock cannot make itself and a fire cannot burn forever. Matter cannot come from non-matter and a perpetual motion machine cannot exist. Therefore, the universe could not have made itself from nothing, nor could it have always been moving, churning, working, and burning. Another way to state these first two laws of thermodynamics is that the physical universe must have had a supernatural Creator sometime in the recent past. This study presents the scientifically compelling Genesis story. Of all men, Christians more than any are able to weave the latest findings into our understanding of the fabric of the universe. Since God created the physical universe, good science reveals God. And while some say that you cannot prove the existence of God, the Bible tells us that the clear evidence of His personal, powerful, and eternal existence is manifest through the creation! Enjoy these studies!  The Genesis-Creation Bible study is available on MP3-CD or MP3 Download. * Boulder, Colorado's Planetarium Show on Christ's Birth: For Christmas, we're enjoying this classic Real Science Radio broadcast about the University of Colorado's Fiske Planetarium presentation of a live program, The Astronomical Star of Bethlehem, by amateur astronomer Gil Buller. From the planetarium's website, "This exciting program examines the sky at the time of the birth of Christ to see which astronomical phenomenon may have been the Star of Bethlehem." * Orbital Mechanics Help Identify the Star of Bethlehem: Using computer-generated images of the night sky in ancient Israel, this planetarium program does in great style what Bob Enyart's DVD does using more modest computer simulation software. Click to get Bob's classic DVD, The Planets, Stars, and The Bible. * The Materialist's Star Problem: You may enjoy the bulleted list at our rsr.org/list-of-star-formation-problems broadcast show page. And whereas unbelievers say that young-earth creationists have a "starlight and time" problem, remember, materialists have: 1) a star problem 2) a light problem 3) a time problem, and 4) an everything problem.

* Merry Christmas! Today, we go back to 2004 to listen to Bob Enyart's Christmas sermon on the liberal's intolerance of anything that reminds them of Jesus Christ (And in 2023, things haven't changed)! * KGOV Karols:  Stick around to the end to hear BEL's way around the culture war on Christmas!

Like a thermostat talking to the furnace, trees talk to one another, and even to the neighbors' furnaces, so to speak, and by the analogy, to many other devices. Bob Enyart and Fred Williams highlight Real Science Radio's existing reports at rsr.org/trees including on tree-ring dating and how seeds know which way is up and which is down (their cells produce an anchor that sinks so they can shoot up their stems in the opposite direction). The guys then review forest expert Tom Hennigan's report for Answers in Genesis on trees reproducing the saliva of attacking beetles to attract predators to come and get the beetles, and how for a sapling other trees will pull back their roots, and how in some species when one tree is diseased other trees will give up nutrients in hopes of nursing the sick tree back to health. Today's Resource: Get all of our 2020 Real Science Radio shows on two MP3 discs!

* Why God Just Might Like the Christmas Tree: Some Christians have been taught that because there are pagan symbols and origins for various Christmas and Easter traditions, therefore believers should not celebrate such religious feast days, should not use pagan terminology, and should certainly not partake in any custom that has pagan roots. * Seven Lines of Evidence: Pastor Bob Enyart of Denver Bible Church looks at seven lines of evidence from Scripture showing that... more... * Today’s Resource: BEL CHRISTMAS GIFTS: Please consider getting your Christmas gifts right here at our KGOV Store! Deuteronomy: Relive young Israel's crucial moments, from their refusal to enter the Promised Land to the miracles and battles of the desert years. The name Deuteronomy signifies the retelling of the law. And learn the major lessons and the nuances of the biblical law as Moses summarizes God's precepts and reiterates the Ten Commandments. What is the greatest commandment? What is the second greatest? And what laws do those two encapsulate? After the two most important tiers of law, of law toward God and law toward man, how should we understand the remaining laws like tithing and the symbolic regulations? Enjoy these studies!    The Deuteronomy Bible study is available on MP3-CD or MP3 Download.   BEL SUBSCRIPTIONS: Please consider one of our monthly subscriptions that will not only help support BEL, but they also promote better understanding of the Bible and may equip you to more effectively reach those around you.
