Bob Enyart Live

* Revelation: The Book of Revelation vents God's final warning toward those who will not follow Him. Often clouded in mystery, this book has eluded the understanding of millions, and has been used as a pretext for many false prophets. Bob Enyart presents this conclusion of Scripture in light of the Bible's overview. This clear method of study helps to cut through much of the confusion regarding Revelation. For over a quarter century Bob Enyart has studied God's Word praying for the wisdom to share the truth of Scripture with a lost and dying world. Now you can benefit from this very exciting Bible study. The two Revelation albums address matters of eternal consequence head on. Before listening to these tapes, Bob strongly urges that you read The Plot book or listen to The Plot album that will introduce you to the overview of the Bible. Available on MP3-CD or download.   BEL SUBSCRIPTIONS: Please consider one of our monthly subscriptions that will not only help support BEL, but they also promote better understanding of the Bible and may equip you to more effectively reach those around you. Today on The Dominic Enyart Show, everyone agrees that social media is unhealthy, but today we’re looking a bit more at the problems it causes for young children. Specifically, the new trend is teaching children that they have multiple personality disorders. We’ll also be taking a look at a new bombshell study debunking the chemical imbalance depression theory. In addition, we’ll be giving an “empowering” solution. Today Dominic mentioned a show he did with his brother Michael Enyart on taboos. To hear that show, click here! Mondays Bob Enyart Live (Broadcast Classics) Tuesdays The Dominic Enyart Show Wednesdays The Dominic Enyart Show Thursdays Theology Thursday (with Bob Enyart) Fridays Real Science Radio (with Fred Williams) Hey, Dominic here with a funny/ironic/sad post-show note. After wrapping up the show, I opened TikTok (because I'm a glutton for punishment) and the first thing on my "for you" page was a video that started with, "I cry myself to sleep every night." The video had 400,000 likes... Today's resource: Spiritual Growth Pack: Christians sometimes need a push forward to grow spiritually. After forty years as a Christian, these teachings represent my best effort at discipling another Christian to mature in his or her relationship with God: The Plot presents an amazing overview of the whole Bible story. The Tree leads a believer into a deeper relationship with God. Predestination & Free Will will help the believer better understand God and reality. Bible Tour of Israel brings the viewer along on our trip to Israel and celebrates much of what he has already learned reinforcing the key spiritual truths! So many believers have said that their understanding of the Bible has grown greatly and their spiritual lives have matured as they have benefited from these four teaching materials. We invite you to do likewise!

We are restarting the infamous list of "reasons to get your kids out of public schools." Today on The Dominic Enyart Show, we're working through reasons 1, 2, and 3. Note: We have age-restricted this show to 18 and above as we find this topic necessary for adults, but not suitable for children. 00:00 Reason #1 (This teacher should be criminally prosecuted). 09:20 Reason #2 Bible banning. 20:23 Reason #3 Public schools make your children ugly (...seriously).

After briefly discussing the "bitcoin bubble" and Judge Roy Moore's election loss, Bob airs part of Matt Slick's opening statement as a lead in to the continuation of Will Duffy's cross-examining of the popular Calvinist theology from their December 1, 2017 Open Theism debate. Duffy is the founder of opentheism.org (the official home of the debate) and Slick is the founder of carm.org, the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry. * Actions Cannot Be Figures of Speech: Matt Slick in his opening statement misunderstood this point, thinking that Will Duffy and Bob Enyart claim that a figure of speech cannot include an action verb. That has nothing to do with this observation. Here it is, explained in detail, from opentheism.org/verses#regret:  13 - God Shows Regret (similar to "repent"; uses the same Hebrew word, nacham) I greatly regret making Saul king 1 Sam. 15:11 therefore God deposed Saul from the throne and gave the dynasty to David. For "Samuel said to Saul, 'You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD…  For… the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom shall not continue…'" 1 Sam. 13:13-14. (An "action" cannot be a figure of speech. Why not? Because an action is not only speech; it is an action. God "repenting" that He made Saul King 1 Sam. 15:11, 35 could theoretically be a figure of speech (but if so, then as a figure, it would have to convey some actual meaning). However "to repent" does not refer only to words or thoughts, but it can also refer to an action (to turn from). When any word, including the word "repent", refers to an action, then it cannot be a figure "of speech", because it is an action. When God removed Saul from the throne, and then actually gave the dynasty to David, that deposing of Saul was an action that God performed. (This powerfully illustrates a reason why God inspired His Word as a historical narrative rather than merely as a series of abstractions, so that we would constrain our interpretations based on the biblical accounts.) The Lord repented that He had made man on the earth and was grieved Gen. 6:6-7 so He destroyed the earth's population, which is not speech but an action (except for Noah's family Mat. 24:37-38; 1 Peter 3:20) * Quotes from Calvinist John Piper: Piper wrote an article about one of his own articles. The second is titled, Will we be finally ‘saved’ by faith alone? to which Piper answers, "No." To get to that false conclusion Piper rejects using the terms justified and saved as synonyms, and he unwittingly conflates the Christian's life in heaven with our life here. For in heaven we are delivered from our flesh whereas here we are not. By these tactics Piper twists the Scriptures to arrive at his legalist goal, that you cannot be saved by faith alone. He begins his second article (actually, a transcript) like this: "[In] an article titled 'Does God Really Save Us by Faith Alone?' ... you answered no — we are not saved by faith alone" and urging Christians to not use "the term justification interchangeably with salvation" and that "Justification... unites us to Christ by faith alone" but while "works play no role whatsoever in justification" John Piper then contradicts himself by immediating adding that "works... are the necessary fruit of justifying faith..." Confusing what happens in this life as compared to what happens in "the day of redemption", John Piper writes, "we are not justified through sanctification. But we are finally saved through sanctification..." And because Piper doesn't rightly divide between law and grace (i.e., between Israel and the Body, and between Paul and James), in confusion he adds, "faith without works is not the kind of faith that justifies anybody... these works are necessary." And of course, by reject Christ's teaching through Paul that we must "rightly divide the word of truth", Piper arrives at a dispensationally erroneous conclusion that contradicts the Gospel of Grace that God gave to Paul for us, which says: "to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness." Romans 4:5 See Piper make the same legalistic case in his foward to another book.

As the RSR studios are being remodeled, Fred and Doug get a break. Today we're going back to an old RSR episode with Bob Enyart and Bryan Nickel. This episode will serve as the perfect precursor to next week's show. Be sure not to miss it!  HPT Heat Series Part 2 * The Missile Division Engineer and the Critics: Enyart interviews Bryan Nickel, a mechanical engineer who's spent 18 years in the missile division of a U.S. aerospace firm, about the criticism that Dr. Walt Brown's Hydroplate Theory would bring catastrophic heat to the Earth's surface during the global flood. The guys address four critics, anti-creationists Glen Kuban and Tony Reed, and fellow young-earthers Danny Faulkner and John Baumgardner. * RSR to AIG, ICR, CMI, & CRS: ARD melts CPT. Really. The big four groups and their scientists who make up Walt Brown's leading creationist critics mostly support a competing flood model called Catastrophic Plate Tectonics. CPT has its own heat problem with advocates admitting that accelerated radioactive decay would melt the crust and appealing to a miracle as a solution for removing that heat. HPT, in contrast, observes physical processes that remove heat. * Bio: Dr. Walt Brown received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Heat Transfer division in their engineering department while working in MIT's heat transfer lab. * The Twenty Criticisms: See last week's list of 20 heat criticisms lodged claiming that the events described by Walt Brown's Hydroplate Theory would boil the oceans, cook the atmosphere, and melt the crust. * The Dozen Physics Observations: Bryan and Bob last week then reviewed a list of a 12 physics factors that address the 20 criticisms and on today's program they begin applying those laws of physics beginning with the criticisms that the HPT theory events would overheat the atmosphere. For example, evaluating the heat transfer of the HPT, includes recognizing that a rapidly expanding fluid (liquid, gas, or supercritical water) cools extremely rapidly. On today's program the guys also note the behavior of directed energy and the significance of boundary conditions. Later in this series, they will address that nuclear fusion (a process involved in understanding the origin of Earth's radioactivity) is adiabatic (i.e., heat neutral) when looked at from the perspective of fusing the periodic table's lighter and heavier elements (in the general proportions that they are found in Earth's crust). * HPT Heat Series: These programs form the eleventh installment in our RSR Answers HPT Objections meta series. - RSR Answers the Hydroplate Theory Heat Problem rsr.org/heat-1 - RSR Answers the HPT Atmosphere Heat Problem rsr.org/heat-2 - RSR Answers the HPT Atmosphere & Oceans Heat Problem rsr.org/heat-3 - RSR Answers the HPT Crust Heat Problem rsr.org/heat-4 - RSR Answers the HPT Heat Problem Crust Final rsr.org/heat-5 * The Hydroplate Theory Special: You may want to purchase this set of resources if... - You'd like to read the best creation book ever written and watch its accompanying videos - You like Real Science Radio and want to help it stay on the air - You'd like to give the gift of understanding creation and the flood to someone who could really benefit from it.  * The RSR Repository: For all things HPT just click on over to rsr.org/hpt. * Heat Series Images, Spreadsheets, & Videos: A click on this Google Docs screenshot brings you to our draft version of our HPT Temperatures of the Fountains spreadsheet. Estimating the fountains temps - Adding heat to supercritical water...   - Regarding this stored energy in supercritical water...   - Regarding temperatures under the crust and hypersonic speeds of the fountain... - Explanation/Example of directed energy and rapid expansion of gases... - Inertia of atmosphere and how entrained material would act to cool and further protect life within... * Sunday Update -- Jason Jones Spoke at DBC Today: Thanks Jason, and what a great promo you just put together on Friday for Unplanned... post Unplanned * Leaving the Theater: See Bob's terrible photo, right, leaving the theater after Unplanned. The MPAA motion picture association is trying to torpedo the anti-abortion film Unplanned by giving it an R rating. (Showing a kidney being removed wouldn't earn a film such a family-audience-killing rating. They know it's a baby! Btw, they also gave an R rating to our friend Dr. Patrick Johnston's film The Reliant starring Kevin Sorbo, Brian Bosworth, Eric Roberts, and the Benham Brothers.) Unplanned tells the incredible story of Abby Johnson's escape from the abortion industry.
