  • Prayer for Abundant Blessings and Rest

Hello, Friend! It’s Bob Perry here, and I’m excited to invite you to join Amy and me for our annual June 30-Day Prayer Challenge, starting this Sunday. Together, we’ll seek God’s abundant blessings, guidance, protection, and provision.

This is a wonderful opportunity to unite with believers worldwide, all eager to grow in faith. We are asking for the blessings of God to be in our lives, as we open our hearts to his divine care, breakthroughs, and transformation.

Each day, we’ll offer prayers inspired by 1 Chronicles 4:10, echoing Jabez’s heartfelt plea. These simple, straight forward prayers embody faith and trust in God’s perfect plans.

The amazing part? God answered Jabez, and since Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, let’s join together in expectation that He will answer our prayers, too.

Heavenly Father, as we gather in Your presence, we ask for Your abundant blessings.

In this season of renewal, expand our influence in our families, communities, and workplaces. Open new opportunities for us to influence and uplift others.

We seek divine breakthroughs and extraordinary grace during this time.

Empower us with Your strength and guide us through life’s complexities.

Protect us from distractions and harm, and guard our hearts against anything that disrupts the peace and joy You desire for us.

May Your guidance be with us, whispering wisdom in our decisions. We long for rest—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically—to face each day rejuvenated.

Comfort us in uncertainty and help us see beyond our challenges.

Let this season deepen our connection with You and restore areas of our lives that feel broken.

We are grateful for Your countless blessings, both large and small, and we receive Your favor with open hearts, knowing You can do far more than we can imagine.

In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

  • A Prayer for Rest and to Shield Us from Negativity and Useless Conflict

Hello Friend! Bob Perry here. Beginning this Sunday, you are invited to join Amy and me for our annual June 30-Day Prayer Challenge, in which each day, we'll pray for God's blessing, expansion, guidance, and protection.

It's our time to gather with friends around the globe to grow in faith together, expecting not just any blessings, but divine care, breakthroughs, favor, and transformation.

Each day, we will make short, simple biblical petitions found in 1 Chronicles 4:10, where a man named Jabez boldly asks God for blessing, expansion, divine guidance, and protection—demonstrating faith, purpose, and trust in God's plans, purposes and provision.

The fantastic thing is that the scripture says that God answered him. Since Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, why wouldn't we come together and pray these one-sentence prayers like others did, expecting that perhaps God will answer our prayers in our day?

    ***

    Heavenly Father,

Like Jabez, we come to You and ask: Oh, that You would bless us indeed and enlarge our territory, not just in work or plans, but in joy, rest, and peace. May this summer season be one of genuine renewal.

Let Your hand guide us whether we travel or remain near home and work. Protect us from the snares of busyness or weariness so we may grow in Christ and reflect Your presence, peace, and power to all we encounter.

Use this season, Lord, to restore our souls. Remind us that rest is holy and that recreation is Your good gift. Strengthen us and prepare us to walk boldly in Your purposes and plans.

Shield us from negativity, conflict, or discouragement in the workplace. Surround us with supportive colleagues and unite us in purpose so that our efforts may bring glory to Your name and bless those around us.

Thank You for your faithfulness in our jobs and careers. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Join us in this incredible journey of faith and prayer!

  • Forgiveness

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. Lord, times are complex, but we will trust in you and stand firm in Christ. Thank you for being here for us when fear threatens our resolve. We pray, Lord, that your will be done, because we know that you love us and that your will is best. We ask for your divine guidance as we walk in forgiveness.

Thank you for showing us how to live. Jesus, you demonstrated the power of granting forgiveness. You are our model, excellent Jesus. You forgave the people who put you on the cross, saying, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." Your act of forgiveness inspires and motivates us to follow in your footsteps.

Amazing love hung you on the cross, and when you chose not to lash out, you displayed strength, and courage. You often taught that forgiveness is a key factor in bringing about supernatural intervention that allows for answered prayers. Jesus, you preached this truth, and at that moment on the cross, you lived it.

What a powerful message for generations, Lord Jesus. Papa God, we can see today that seeking revenge and holding onto hatred and resentment perpetuates a generational cycle of pain, regret, and curses. This cycle continues to inflict the same hurt and suffering across generations. The principle of "an eye for an eye" is not the higher law that Jesus demonstrated on the cross for us.

Thank you, Jesus, for living inside us. With the Holy Spirit, our divine helper, we choose to walk in forgiveness. The Holy Spirit guides and empowers us on this journey. You taught that forgiveness is not only a choice; it is a powerful tool that reflects the heart of Papa's love and disrupts the cycle of hurt and pain. It is a transformative act, the right choice that changes circumstances. It is a kairos moment of God's power to turn things around and break the cycle of resentment.

Jesus, you chose forgiveness and offered it freely. Your desire is for us to do the same. Amen.

In closing, let me share Jesus' words on forgiveness from the Gospel of Matthew. When the Apostle Peter asked, "Master, how often should I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven times?" Jesus replied, "Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven."

Oh my, help us, Lord. Grant us grace to forgive ourselves and others.

Grace and Peace to you today as we continue to call upon God for your finances and resources.

Father, thank you for creating us exceptionally well. We are wonderfully and fearfully made. We break any word curse over us that we are not good with money.

In Jesus' name, we are made in your image, and you live inside us. Take us to a new level of stewardship. Increase the gift of faith in us.

May the Spirit of the Lord teach us many things about resources, stewardship, and investing for your kingdom's advancement. We trust and thank you for raises, bonuses, inheritances, lost checks being found, unexpected gifts, many income streams, and supernatural provisions.

Lord, we thank you for the riches of God's grace and his abundant love. How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him.

In this season of signs, wonders, and miracles, we ask for more of your wisdom and favor in our lives and in our businesses. Increase our cash flow—break the shortage in our lives. Relieve the stress found in complex financials. Be the God who provides.

Mighty God, you are known as "the Lord who provides." Abraham, the Father of our faith, declared your name is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who will appear and grant us what is needed. Father, we put God first and trust you with the rest.

    In Jesus' life-giving name. Amen.

We trust in your perfect timing, knowing that your guidance and provision will be shown to us. We yearn for your wisdom to navigate these challenges and to inspire us to grow beyond our shortcomings.

May we cultivate a spirit of humility, nurturing a tenderness that breaks through the tough exterior of our pride.

Father God, you have a sacred blessing for us as your cherished people—a blessing that envelops us in your love, overflowing grace, and protective embrace that shields us from harm.

    The LORD blesses and keeps us;

    The LORD makes His face shine upon us, infusing our lives with warmth, kindness and favor;

The LORD turns His compassionate gaze toward us and grants us profound peace, purpose, and protection.

    Shalom.

    Amen.

  • Rest, Reset, and Refreshment Prayer

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. I am praying for Rest, Reset, and Refreshment.

Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts overflowing with gratitude, inspired by the unwavering hope that emerges when we center our lives around you.

In a world that often pulls us in different directions, teach us to wait patiently on you. Help us to recognize and sincerely trust in your unfailing love, which refreshes our weary spirits and empowers us to soar like eagles above our challenges.

Grant us the courage to face each day with unwavering endurance. As we navigate life’s obstacles, let us walk confidently, overcoming every challenge with the assurance that your boundless love anchors us.

Your promise, as expressed in Isaiah 40:31, assures us that when we prioritize you, seek your guidance, and invite you into our lives, we will experience profound restoration, rejuvenation, and refreshment.

Lord, you are our unshakable strength. No matter how daunting, the tasks that lie ahead of us cannot compare to the divine power that surrounds us, uplifts us, and resides within us through the resurrected Christ.

In moments of trial and tribulation, when fear and doubt threaten to overwhelm us, remind us that you are steadfastly by our side. In times of loss and uncertainty, we humbly wait upon you, placing our hopes firmly in your hands. In doing so, we receive the rest, reset, and refreshment only you can provide.

Help us, O God, to trust in you deeply so that we may arise with wings like eagles, run with vigor without growing weary, and walk forward without stumbling.

Thank you for the precious gift of hope, the unwavering assurance that comes from trusting you, and the profound safety we find in confiding all our concerns to you.

You are our sustainer and strength, empowering us to navigate and triumph over all obstacles we may encounter.

Sovereign God, work in our lives, and watch over us every step of the way. Defend us and protect us. Provide for us and grant us wisdom, peace, and favor.

    Amen.

  • Praise Your Way To Breakthrough

Hello, Friend. Bob Perry here. Are you ready to seek God’s help to overcome your hardships?

As a young adult, I underwent a powerful transformation through faith. I dug deep into the inspiring stories of men and women in scripture who boldly praised God, even in adversity. This revelation challenged the constant complaining I was surrounded by and profoundly impacted my outlook on life.

Through my continued study of the Bible, I discovered a profound truth: significant hardships often arise in environments filled with negativity and complaints. But here's the key-embrace the transformative power of praise. It has the potential to bring about monumental breakthroughs in your life, empowering you to overcome even the most daunting of hardships.

Acts 16 recounts the incredible story of Paul and Silas, who, despite their dire circumstances, dedicated themselves to joy in worship and singing hymns to God. Their praise was so mighty that it triggered a massive earthquake, shaking the prison to its core and setting everyone free.

Even in their moments of pain and suffering, Paul and Silas made a conscious choice to offer praise to God. Their determination and faith in God's power led to a miraculous response-God shook the very foundations of the prison and delivered everyone there from captivity. This should inspire us all to make the same choice in our own hardships.

So, my friend, let’s commit to praising God. Let’s confidently lift our voices and hearts in adoration to our God, believing that heaven will respond to the sacrifices of our praise.

Jesus, we love you, praise you, and trust you because you are always near us, guiding and protecting us.

Lord, we will not wait for breakthroughs to express our praise and gratitude. We choose to praise you for your goodness, even in the midst of our circumstances. Our act of praise is our faithful, humble acknowledgment of your unwavering love and care for us.

We declare our worship to you as Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

In all our circumstances, we honor you as our Creator. We declare our adoration for you!

We praise your character because you are our God:

    - You are our Peace.

    - You are our Healer.

    - You are our Provider.

    - You are our Supplier.

    - You are our Defender.

    - You are our Sanctifier.

    - You are our Shepherd.

    - You are our Waymaker.

    - You are our Resting Place.

    - You are our Righteousness.

    - You are our Banner of Love.

    - You are our Master and Friend.

We thank you, Almighty God, gracious Redeemer, and Savior, for your unwavering goodness. May our praise of joy, halt the enemy and compel your action. We trust you, as our Refuge and Defender. Amen.

  • May Our Work Bring You Glory, Lord

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. Let’s pray.

Father God, we come before you with gratitude, recognizing the importance of daily prayer in our work. The enemy may whisper doubts, but you taught your disciples to pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.”

Father, we acknowledge that seeking your guidance in our business and financial decisions is a profound act of faith, especially in challenging times. The Apostle Paul's encouragement to pray without ceasing reminds us to pray all our petitions before you, and to bring them before you, and you will honor them.

We view our business as a sacred act of worship and seek your help, resources, and blessings in every aspect of our endeavors. Thank you for the opportunities our work brings. May your blessings rest upon our work, and may your power establish our ideas and work. May it bring you glory.

With open hearts, we seek your discernment through the Holy Spirit. We ask for clarity in our decisions and courage to use our gifts wisely.

Jesus, we recognize that life’s challenges can test our resolve. Help us to remain steadfast, finding peace in the storms and strength in you.

Guide us to align our work with your vision, understanding that our success depends on you.

We declare that this is the day the Lord has made, filled with promise and opportunity. We seek your wisdom to light our paths and empower us to serve as your ambassadors.

Lord, grant us the perseverance to withstand every challenge.

In the marketplace, we hold fast to your comforting words, Jesus, when you said,

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than them?” - Matthew 6:26.

With unwavering faith, we trust in your love and provision for us, knowing we are cherished in your sight.

    Amen.

  • Red Alert: Special Historical Note and Prayer for Today’s National Day of Prayer

Hello, friend. Bob Perry here. Today, we come together in heartfelt prayer to commemorate a truly significant occasion on the American calendar: the National Day of Prayer. This day holds profound meaning and is a symbol of unity across the United States of America, for a nation that says, “In God, we trust.”

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance that was established by the United States Congress and is deeply rooted in our nation’s history. Its origins date back to the First Continental Congress in 1775, a time when leaders from the colonies recognized the urgent need for God’s help in the face of tremendous challenges. They declared a day of prayer and fasting across the land, understanding that turning to faith would provide strength and guidance in tumultuous times.

This day received official recognition as a national observance in 1952, thanks largely to the vision of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. Inspired by his mother’s belief that "prayer was the best investment you could ever make," Hilton aimed to weave the practice of prayer more deeply into the fabric of American culture, reflecting the foundational values upon which our nation was built.

Today, we celebrate the 74th anniversary of this cherished tradition, held each year on the first Thursday of May. I encourage you to join us in this vital act of praying for God’s guidance and blessings, recognizing our deep and persistent need for His divine direction, especially during these challenging times that test our resolve and spirit.

At the inaugural National Day of Prayer in 1952, the renowned evangelist Billy Graham stood on the steps of the United States Capitol, addressing a gathering of 40,000 passionate believers who had come together in unity. His powerful voice filled the air with joy and authority as he prayed, embodying the spirit of faith that this day represents. In his prayer, he expressed the collective yearning for divine intervention and hope:

"Lord, what a thrilling and glorious day to witness believers and leaders in our government praying, humbling themselves, and kneeling before Almighty God. May a renewed hope and courage envelop our fellow Americans in this hour of peril. Mighty God, as thousands gather beneath the majestic dome of the Capitol, we pledge our allegiance to you, imploring for your divine assistance in this critical time for our nation. To the freedom-loving peoples of the world, Lord God, we reaffirm our faith in the God of our Fathers. We acknowledge our need for a Savior from our sins. In humility and repentance, we ask you to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Then, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, one of America's five-star generals, played a pivotal role in highlighting the indispensable role of prayer in the very essence of our nation after the Great War. His words of prayer, following Mr. Graham's prayer were strongly felt.

"Today, as we gather to pray in the name of Almighty God, we declare that the United States of America is still a nation under God. Prayer is essential, deepening our connection with the Sovereign God who reigns over heaven and earth. Lord God, you are deeply aware of our nation's rich history of faith; once again, we humbly acknowledge our profound dependence on you. O Lord, forgive us. Cleanse us. Heal us. Restore us. Revive us. Amen."

Recognizing our reliance on Jesus cultivates a profound sense of humility and reverence within our hearts. It affirms our faith in the Lord as the builder and defender of the nation.

Resounding with the powerful scripture from 2 Chronicles 7:14, we are reminded that if we sincerely humble ourselves before God, earnestly pray, seek his face, and turn away from our misguided ways, he promises to hear us, forgive our transgressions, and heal our land. This assurance of divine forgiveness rekindles hope and strengthens our confidence in the transformative power of our prayers.

As we unite with millions of faithful believers across the United States, our heartfelt prayers create a ripple effect of hope and transformative change that we believe will lead to spiritual revival and awakening in our hearts, families, and communities. This collective spiritual wind of revival established through prayer weaves us together, making us a part of a larger spiritual family that transcends geographical and cultural divides.

Heavenly Father, you have instructed us on the significance of humbling ourselves before you, engaging earnestly in prayer, crying out for mercy, seeking your divine presence, and turning away from our wrongful choices.

Lord Jesus, this sacred practice nurtures spiritual hunger, humility, and humanity; it strengthens our families, fortifies our workplaces, and uplifts our churches. It is a divine calling that resonates with all people and nations alike.

We come together before you with deep humility and sincerity in this sacred moment.

We confess that you are the one true God while we are mere mortals; you are perfect in all your ways, and we often fall short of your divine standards.

We recognize our tendency toward pride and independence from you and humbly seek your forgiveness.

We acknowledge our pressing need for you now more than ever.

In our moments of weakness and self-sufficiency as a nation, we often stray onto paths, selfish paths that may seem justifiable in our own eyes but ultimately conflict with your divine will. Therefore, we fervently pray that you will guide us back to yourself, Almighty God.

Please forgive our sins, heal our land, and restore us as a people who honor you in every action we take and every word we utter.

O God, rend the heavens and come down.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.

    Amen.

  • Jelly Roll, Brandon Lake, “Hard Fought Hallelujuah” and a Wednesday Prayer

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. It has been interesting to watch how Jelly Roll and Brandon Lake's new song, "Hard Fought Hallelujah," is catching the attention of millions of people across the globe.

The song captures the gritty reality of faith while delivering a powerful message of hope and strength. Its emotional depth resonates with millions of listeners, drawing in testimonies from various platforms, including live performances at the Grand Ole Opry, American Idol, and Jimmy Kimmel.

One listener expressed, "I don't consider myself religious, but I connect with the emotions they convey. My heart is more open to God than ever before."

Another wrote, "I am a grumpy, cynical, old man who has witnessed much of the world's wrongs. I just watched a Jimmy Kimmel interview with Jelly Roll. I haven’t heard much about him except that he was a convict who became a singer that found God. I found his honesty refreshing and his personality wholesome and real. I heard them discussing this song and figured, why not give it a try? I had my headphones on because my wife was watching Netflix! By the end of the song, I was crying, shouting, and cheering. My wife thought I had lost it! I got her to pause her TV show and played it back for her; she understands now, and we were both in tears. Something new is happening in us—a fresh hunger to know the God they sang about."

This is just two of many examples of how the song transcends religious boundaries and touches the hearts of listeners everywhere. Come on God! We love this good news!

    Let’s pray.

Heavenly Father, we stand before you, aware of your deep care for people and your desire for all of humanity to experience life in abundance. We commit ourselves to pursuing revival, this move of God, that breathes life, nourishes the soul, preserves our hearts, and restores our spirits.

We seek your grace for repentance, revival, and awakening. You long for every individual to truly know you and to experience the life that comes through Christ. Ignite within us an awakening that brings renewal, restoration, rest, identity, and purpose.

Lord, we ask that you pour out your Spirit upon the young, especially those in Generation Z, born between 1996 and 2012. They find themselves at the crossroads, encountering both revival and retreat. May you illuminate their path, revealing to them the way, the truth, and the life.

We fervently pray for young men to be drawn back to you O God, that they may rise up as modern-day Davids, bold and fearless.

We declare with hope, "Prodigals of all ages, return home to the Father, his arms are wide open, waiting for you!"

Jesus, we yearn for a mighty awakening, where hundreds of thousands in our community come to know you through the overwhelming outpouring of your Spirit.

With eager anticipation, we wait upon you, trusting that you will perform signs, wonders, and miracles to showcase your goodness for this generation.

Lord, draw near to us, as we draw near to you.

We desire an abundance of your presence,

    an outpouring of your power,

    the wealth of your provision,

and the fullness of your providence.

O God, rend the heavens and come down to us. Save us once more, for we remain hopeful and expectant of your divine intervention.

    Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
