Bob Prieto is currently Chairman & CEO of Strategic Program Management LLC focused on improving capital efficiency in large capital construction programs and strengthening engineering and construction organizations. Previously Bob was a senior vice president of Fluor focused on the development and delivery of large, complex projects worldwide. He is author of “Strategic Program Management” and eight other books, over 850 papers and presentations and 4 issued patents. Bob’s industry involvement includes ASCE Industry Leaders Council (ILC), National Academy of Construction (NAC) and Fellow of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). He serves on a wide range of industry advisory panels including the the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Advisory Board, OECD Trust in Business Initiative - Blue Dot Network Executive Consultation Group and World Economic Forum Global Strategic Infrastructure Initiative Steering Committee and Global Advisory Council. Bob served as one of three U.S. presidential appointees to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council (ABAC); co-chaired the infrastructure task force in New York after 9/11; and Chairman at Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), one of the world’s leading engineering companies. He serves on New York University School of Engineering Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Advisory Board and New York University Abu Dhabi Engineering Academic Advisory Council and previously served as a trustee of Polytechnic University. He was appointed as an honorary global advisor for the PM World Journal and Library. Bob currently serves on the Mott MacDonald Shareholders Committee as an independent member and Saudi based Dar al Riyadh Group as a non-executive director.
