Head of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee and former Gainesville Mayor Ed Braddy on the Bob Rose Show. For the first time in decades, Alachua County has conservatives running for elected positions in County Commission, School Board, state Houses and even Soil and Water seats. And Braddy is now running for the Alachua County Commission seat held by Marihelen Wheeler. There is great interest in conservative and Republican candidates all over the country, and it's happening here in Alachua County. GOP candidates locally are joining high profile state races for Governor and US Senate, in the August primary and November general election.

Braddy also addressed local issues like Gainesville's recent urban planning push to pack neighborhoods with high-density zoning.
