Age limits and red flag measures will do nothing to prevent the Uvalde, Texas school shooting, and may not face Constitutional challenges. The latest Supreme Court ruling against NY was a big win for personal defense. There are further challenges of gun restrictions to be decided, but the process is slow. Having to get a license to exercise Second Amendment rights is itself unconstitutional. And the Second Amendment is the only right where citizens need approval from the government.

For the first time in decades, Alachua County has conservatives running for elected positions in County Commission, School Board, state Houses and even Soil and Water seats. And Braddy is now running for the Alachua County Commission seat held by Marihelen Wheeler. There is great interest in conservative and Republican candidates all over the country, and it's happening here in Alachua County. GOP candidates locally are joining high profile state races for Governor and US Senate, in the August primary and November general election. Braddy also addressed local issues like Gainesville's recent urban planning push to pack neighborhoods with high-density zoning.

The latest defense bill is moving through committee markups, is finding strong bipartisan support, and passed 67-1. Florida US House Rep. Mike Waltz says that although the bill doesn't have everything he wants, there is a lot of good to keep America safe. Waltz outlined the many growing global threats facing the United States, especially China. And with so many American institutions drunk on Chinese money, Waltz worries about how pervasive the impact of their influence.
