Florida's Legislature just passed the biggest state budget ever…yet managed to put back millions for the future.

Amid rising gas prices, Florida seems to have higher prices than surrounding states. Clemmons said tax holidays will help.  The Parental Rights bill has seen push back from some, like Disney.  Clemmons and Gov. DeSantis are standing up against opponents and for the rights of parents.

Clemmons passed more bills this year that any other House member, including a law against  “smash & grab” criminals. 

The Florida Legislature's Special Session is coming up April 19, and will focus on redistricting.

Consumer expert Randy Ray of 'Senior Consumers of America' discusses the latest scam that is sweeping Florida. Roofers and attorneys have devised a scheme to needlessly replace roofs on homes, and grossly overcharge insurance companies. The scam is causing rising homeowners' insurance rates.

SW Florida Congressman Greg Steube updated the latest on Senate hearings for Biden's SCOTUS nominee, questions on Ukrainian biolabs tied to Hunter Biden, and how Ukraine's stiff resistance to Russia might reduce the chance China invades Taiwan.

Alachua County Sheriff's Office spokesman Art Forgey urges drives to put cell phones down and pay close attention with spring driving spiking in the area. I-75 volume is up, and pedestrian accidents have increased in Gainesville. Also talked about laws regarding showing firearms when threatened.
