Florida State Senator Keith Perry on the Bob Rose Show Thursday 1-23-2020. Perry has taken heat over Senate bill 7028, which includes a provision adding regulations on the private sale of firearms. Perry says the bill will not pass the legislature, but opponents object to language in the bill and senators who voted in favor of the bill in committtee.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo talked with Bob Rose 1-23-20 during a trip to Florida. The latest on South America, Cuba and Central America, and perspectives on our relationship with Saudi Arabia. Pompeo appeared later in the afternoon in Bushnell at the Sumter County Fairgrounds.

Gavin Rollins is a Captain in the Florida National Guard, a Veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, an American history teacher and a conservative Clay County Commissioner.

A resident of Clay County, Rollins earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. He earned a master’s degree in education at the University of West Florida.

Rollins discussed his experience and views, as a Republican candidate running for the Florida District 3 U.S. House seat now held by the retiring Ted Yoho.
