Our guest this morning was Jo Ellis, of the Bay Area Lyme Foundation; Jo's mission was to let us gardeners know that one can get ticks and be exposed to Lyme's disease without leaving the yard!  Lyme-infected ticks can ride on squirrels and rats as well as family pets, so it's important to be tick-aware, and to recognize the early signs of Lyme infection.   Listeners wanting more info can see www.bayarealyme.org for more information.
