Our guest at 8:30 was the incomparable Gerre Gettle, founder of Baker Creek Seeds and the amazing National Heirloom Expo; the premiere event for organic gardening and farming; there will be hundreds of speakers panels and sessions, as well as an expo hall and lots of food and fun.   It's all happening Tuesday September 11 through Thursday the 13th at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa; gates will be open 9a to 9p.

Jerre discussed some of the sessions he's excited about, as well as some of the exotic squash and melon varieties that will be shown.
