Bob & Weave

As promised, last Tuesday Bob & Zaq took to the stage at The Drop Comedy Club in South Bend, Indiana.  Both of your hosts performed 5 minute stand-up comedy sets in front of a packed room.  Friend of the show Freddie Miller, and Bob's brother Brent also performed.  We all had a blast, and in this week's episode Bob & Zaq are joined by one of the managers at The Drop, Maxwell Tidey.  Max talks about what it takes to become a successful comic, and critiques the open mic sets from the night before.

This week Bob & Zaq break down last week's Super Tuesday election results.  Get your tin foil hats out, because Bob has some theories about how the D.N.C. is working to keep Bernie Sanders from winning the Democrat nomination. . . all while Zaq tries to change the subject.  Enjoy.

This week Bob & Zaq have a chat about the concept of participation awards for children.  What seemed like a simple topic, actually gets pretty muddy as the conversation progresses.  Emotions were high by the end of the episode.

This week we're joined by special guest, Freddie Miller.  You may have seen Freddie a few weeks ago, when he was featured on the Jimmy Kimmel show.  Freddie was the #stonerfrommichigan.  He was nice enough to carve some time out of his now very busy schedule to sit down and chat with Bob & Zaq about his experience with internet fame, and the idea of legalized marijuana.

The guys planned to do an episode this week, but Zaq is still suffering from some pretty severe laryngitis and has no voice.  This episode is just a quick update on our upcoming schedule.  There will be no episode next week, but Bob & Zaq will be back in full force on February 26th.

Bob is flying solo this week.  Zaq was out sick, but luckily Rae Andreacchio was there to sit in for an interview.  If you've listened to the podcast 'Culpable', then you know exactly who Rae is.  She is the mother of Christian Andreacchio.  Rae has been battling for justice for her son for over 5 years.  Christian was found deceased with a bullet wound to his head in 2014.  Investigators ruled it a suicide, but Rae . . . and many many others believe that Christian was murdered.

Rae and Bob discuss her journey through the legal process, the creation of the Culpable podcast, and her current struggle with a group of people that Bob is very familiar with.

This week listeners are driving the train!  Bob & Zaq take on a variety of listener questions ranging from bad calls in the NFL, to gun control, tattoos, climate change and more.

Bob & Zaq weigh in on the rising tensions between the US and Iran, following the assassination of General Soleimani.  At the time of the recording, Iran had just launched 15 ballistic missiles at US bases in Iraq, and President Trump had just given a speech declaring that the US will strike back with sanctions rather than force.  The situation is quickly evolving, and there will be a follow-up episode.

This week Bob and Zaq are joined by guest Boyce Littlefield.  Boyce is the host of The Mindful Skeptic YouTube channel.  His channel is currently dedicated to producing exclusively Andrew Yang content.  He has travelled the Country to attend debates and other Yang events.  He knows Yang's platform inside and out.  The three guys have a great discussion about all things Yang, as well as some great sidebars about current political topics.
