As the 2020-2021 NHL season kicks off Bob welcomes former NHLer Cory Cross into the basement this week. Cory shares his experiences as a professional athlete and how he dealt with change throughout his playing years. With over 650 NHL games, two World Championship Gold Medals and a very memorable playoff goal with the glory starved Toronto Maple Leafs in the early 2000s Cory has a lot of insight into how he personally adapted and evolved throughout his career on and off the ice. Well, Econoline Crush is basically one guy: Trevor Hurst. Trevor joins Bob in the basement this week and he tells his story of change and his adaptive nature. Trevor is a Psychiatric Nurse now. He just wrapped up three years of work with the Dakotas of Manitoba as the Public Health Nurse to a community of 300. His story of being a rock star on weekends and a full time nurse is the subject of a documentary to be released in 2021 called "Flatlander".

Steve Anthony is nothing short of an icon in Canadian Broadcast history. A first generation Much Music VJ, a major market morning show host on television and radio and a voice actor. Steve joins Bob in the basement to explain how he feels that virtually all the changes in his life (both professionally and personally) have all led to a better place. He speaks candidly about his sobriety and about his current role as owner of Anthony's Escape.

Julian Taylor is a Toronto based singer songwriter. You may remember him from the band Staggered Crossing and their early 2000's Canadain radio hit "Further Again". Well, a lot has changed since then for Julian. For one he is a solo act now - his latest release "The Ridge" was just named a top 10 Folk Album for 2020 by Pop Matters, he now hosts a daily radio show on 106.5 Elmnt Radio and oh yeah - he's a dad.
