In the heart of Alabama, Ethan Cooper's life appears idyllic: a devoted family, a thriving career, and a daughter he cherishes. Yet beneath this veneer of perfection, Ethan conceals a secret that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

As he grapples with the challenges of fatherhood, his own identity crisis, and the burden of societal expectations, Ethan finds himself caught between the life he's carefully constructed and the truth he's long suppressed. His journey of self- discovery unfolds over decades, profoundly impacting those around him in ways he never anticipated.

When a series of fateful decisions culminates in a devastating betrayal, Ethan must face the repercussions of his actions and the anguish he's inflicted on others. With his meticulously built world crumbling, can Ethan summon the courage to embrace his authentic self and seek redemption?

Every year as school began, it seemed that each of my primary school teachers would have us write a paragraph or an essay about our summer's activities. As August finishes and school in most of the US has reconvened, this seemed a good time to reflect on my adventures the last few months.

Historical markers include astronomy, Bulgaria and Hungary, Warsaw Pact nations squelching an uprising and Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.

Dinah and her husband met in the 1990s in the New York City area, got married, and after living in Israel for 12 years, returned a few years ago. She has studied TCK (Third Culture Kids) and learns daily about that, about mentoring, about music and how our brain and our temporal lobe especially are affected when we try to find a word! She has hope for Israel and I want that for you as well.

The historical marker of the week has to do with Mahatma Gandhi, VE Day in WWII, Coca Cola's founding and DeSoto finding the MIssissippi.
