Things are getting dicey for Ned Stark and company!! Brit helps me with pronunciations of names, has a "hot flash" for her Khal Drogo, and does a lovely job explaining what Wights are!  This is not a racist podcast btw.

My first live recording with my good Friend Logan K!  Logan shares his disinterest in the show while simultaneously showing his passion and appreciation for the show!  And a word of warning, first 30 minutes is GOT talk, and the final 15 seems to be just a conversation between two friends with some GOT sprinkled in!

THE BEST EPISODE OF GOT I'VE WATCHED YET!  My good buddy from high school Mark joins as we talk about the Golden Crown.  Topics include trips down memory lane of high school fame/regret; Ned's honor continuing to be problematic; comparing Mark's wife to Cersei; and the amazing ending to this fantastic episode with Viserys getting REKKED! Finally!

My brother-in-law joins me as we discuss the idea of breastfeeding a young child, leadership philosophies, and Xan saying the phrase, "the best part of the show," or some version of that statement 4-6 times.  Apparently...there were many great parts to episode 5 of season 1! Not to mention the joys of parenthood as both Xan and I had surprise guests while we tried discussing deep ideas and brutal horse murders...

My sister joins me for this episode and we get some deeper insight into characters; take a trip down memory lane with an incident involving a tennis racquet; and I make a very terrible mistake in interpreting a line from the show and take it to a very naughty place...

Davis joins me for the episode of "Lord Snow."  We have some lovely playful 'banter' although Davis prefers to say he's interrupting me; Davis enlightens me on important new characters; Bocker and Davis come up with a new podcast idea; and Davis also geeks out about music cinema history for about 7 minutes!

My first guest on the show, Donald, provides some great insight into the geography, music, and characters that I wasn't really paying attention to.  In addition, we debate the definition of the word "narrow" and make lovely comparisons from Joffrey to Malfoy.  Also learned a new phrase: Douche Canoe.

Here I am sounding like a moron trying to pronounce the names of the show while I give it my best break down summary, my furnace going off in the background, and basically cracking myself up.  Super enjoyable.   Looking forward to the next episode featuring a good friend, Donald F!  

I've never watched Game of Thrones and to many friends and family, this was not acceptable.  In an effort to get caught up on some pop culture and try something new creatively, I'll be documenting my progress as I go through this journey of watching Game of Thrones.  It is a very big world and I'm excited to watch, chat with friends and family, and find out what all the fuss was about!
