The scale can be seen as your best friend or your worst enemy. Body weight only tells part of the story when it comes to a marker of fitness or health. What needs to be looked at is what makes up the numbers on the screen. Lean body mass versus fat mass is another means of looking at what makes up those numbers we've been trained to look at for years.
