Body donation is crucial in advancing medical knowledge and training future healthcare professionals.
Ian Mellor from QUT's Body Bequest Program told Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive, "Our program is focused on teaching surgeons and paramedics the latest technologies, surgeries, and procedures... that will help the general public after they've had surgery."
"Not only does it save lives, but it gives people, the general public a better health outcome from surgical procedures," Mellor continued.
