She has worked in multiple settings, including community mental health centers, nursing homes, private practices, and hospital systems.  She has given various presentations on mental health and focuses on the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, African American Women, and Postpartum depression and anxiety. She has been featured in the Healthy Actions Column on Depression in the Akron Beacon Journal. Currently, Dr. Childs works as a Staff Psychologist at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She provides psychotherapy/tele mental health to individuals, families, and couples to effectively manage mood and behavior.
