Today we go over the UFC 253 event that happened last weekend with the main even being Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa. Today we talk about the potential Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier rematch and Josh Barnett is apparently doing a bare-knuckle fistfight. We also talk about the main card starting with Hakeem Dawodu vs Zubaira Tukhugov and how Dawodu starts slow but slowing brings himself into the fight. The banger that was Kai Kara-France vs Brandon Royval. The light heavyweight title fight between Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz who became the first male and first light-heavyweight from Poland which was awesome. We discuss a little how Blachowicz would do against Jon Jones. Finally, we talk about the awesome gameplan executed by Israel Adesanya in his TKO victory over Paulo Costa and how Adesanya would do against Jon Jones.

Last weekend we had a decent night of fights. We the UFC card was headlined by Colby Convington and Tyron Woodley which we saw what most were expecting: Woodley's poor ringcraft combined and limited tools on the feet leading to him getting outwrestled and outgunned by a strong wrestler. Convington did his thing combing his high volume and pace on the way to a TKO where he broke Woodley's rib. In the co-main we had Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone take on Niko Price which also played out as the typical Cerrone fight. Starting slow and slowly coming back into the fight as it progressed. The fight ended in a draw which is nothing I can complain about.  Mackenzie submitted Randa Markos with an armbar. Kevin Holland and Darrent Stewart had a decent scrap. Misrad Bektic and Damon Jackson had my fight of the night nomination. The fight was a high-level wrestler, top player, and ground and pounder versus a scrambly submission artist constantly threatening with guillotines and kimuras. If there is one fight to watch from this card, that would be my pick. Derrick Minner choked out TJ Laramie and Randy Costa knocked Journey Nowson very quickly. Tyson Nam showed his hard-hitting against Jerome Rivera eventually countering a kick with a huge right hand.

Hey there everyone! We're back after a long hiatus from MMA because of COVID-19. Over the past month shit has been all over the place. UFC 249 was cancelled. Ferguson is now fighting Justin Gaethje, not Khabib, so many of the card has changed. The day before this was posted Jacare who was suppose to fight Uriah Hall tested positive for COVID-19. So many twists and turns it's like a drama. Today I talk about the UFC 249 card happening later today. Over the weekend we had a couple of different combat sports events. We had two Bellator cards, a UFC card, and the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder rematch. Today I go into some interesting pieces of MMA news regarding fighters getting titles shots off of losses, specifically Israel Adesanya vs Yoel Romero, Max Holloway vs Alexander Volkanowski 2 and the most controversial piece of news, Henry Cejudo vs Jose Aldo! I also break down the UFC Fight Night 168 card headlined by Paul Felder and Dan Hooker which was an amazing fight and showed how amazing the lightweight division is, how deep it is and a fight that had the momentum shift from both fighters forcing them to make adaptations on the fly. I also go over the Wilder Versus Fury rematch and how Fury absolutely brought the fight to Wilder, not only defeating the Bronze Bomber but also stopping the one-punch knockout artist. I also have a fight coming up a few weeks on March 13th, here in Grand Prarie marking my second amateur appearance!

We also talk about Jon Jones vs Dominick Reyes, Ryan Garcia vs Francisco Fonseca and the potential match-up between Ryan Garcia vs Jorge Linares potentially this May/June. We also go over some local talent, such as Jesse Arnett, the #1 ranked Canadian fighter outside of the UFC and Bellator, the Muay Thai World Cup this April 11th in Calgary with local kickboxing talent such as Jhonson "Don" Garzon and Scott "Smash" Mackenzie.
