At age 15, Robert Murray joined a study group. The leader wanted to see if they could make a business that was a “force for good.” They would use a management model based on respect, safety and consensus-type decision making. A company was born and it became wildly successful for 20 years.
During this time, Robert worked at the company and it was so much fun "it didn’t feel like work." But then one wrong question led to a hostile takeover. Robert and many others lost their jobs and with this, he lost his sense of who he was and where he fit into the world. Listen to how Robert reinvented himself, surviving depression and finding new meaning in life.
Robert’s Info.
At 15, Robert Murray grew a business with a group of friends from a start-up to $200 million. Their aspirational mission was to be an example of how business COULD BE, if it focused on making a positive impact in the world. That mission was so engaging, he spent the first 20 years not even thinking of it as work!
That early success gave him the passion for what he's doing today.
He's facilitated hundreds of powerful conversations and events in organizations such as Keller-Williams, Google, Organifi, State Farm, Pro-Match, DaoCloud and many others.
Now, he's partnered with a fellow High-Performance Coach, Daniel Fernandes, to mentor some of the best coaches in the world on how to create transformational group programs.
Over hundreds of sessions with advanced coaches, they've co-created some of the most effective tools in the world to create powerful group sessions where everyone progresses rapidly and feels safe, seen and heard.
