Too many residents remain cut off from the power of art and culture programs that can unite, inspire and revitalize our community. The Community Foundation of Broward wants to see art and culture embedded into the DNA of Broward in ways that:
• Ignite creativity, build community pride and identity, and engage all residents.
One example is the Nova Southeastern University Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale. You’ll hear from Bonnie Clearwater, Director/Chief Curator, who discusses arts in the community and the unique ability of the arts to break down barriers and bring people together through shared experiences.

Pace Center for Girls, Broward
Sara Nunez, Executive Director of Broward's Pace Center for Girls talks about creating BOLD impact for at-risk girls. Since 1992 Pace Broward has served over 8,500 girls throughout Broward County through the academic Day Program and Pace Reach programs. Hear how philanthropy makes it all possible.
This episode will challenge some of the stereotypes you have of people who are homeless. Fran Esposito, Executive Director of Broward Partnership, shares the story of how she changed careers to work in service of others. She also busts some myths about the homeless population and shares some eye-opening statistics about Broward's homeless individuals and families. Finally, she offers stories of hope and bold progress through the work of the Broward Partnership and it's collaboration with the Community Foundation of Broward and other generous local philanthropists.

The Center's goal is to encourage philanthropy in Broward County by providing resilience and stability to non-profits in the community.

Jonathan Allen shares the legacy of his Father, attorney W. George Allen, the man responsible for filing the lawsuit that resulted in desegregating Broward County Schools. Jonathan has taken his father's model of community service to heart. As a Philanthropy Parter with the Community Foundation of Broward, he's not only a Board Member, but also has created four Funds, each dedicated to different causes.
