Lauren Waisanen has nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. In the last several years, she has engaged in extensive healthcare advocacy since her son was diagnosed with leukemia and type 1 diabetes. Her experiences ignited a passion for transforming the U.S. healthcare system and led her back to school in 2021. Lauren has a B.A. in Sociology and is completing her Masters in Public Health at the University of Arizona. Her interests include policy and advocacy work, consumer engagement and education, health communication, and healthcare for all.

What happens when the hard doesn’t quit? Maybe you’re in a difficult season that sometimes feels endless or maybe you just feel like life has always been challenging.
