The Bums kick off the first half of Episode “double-nickel” (055) with a celebration of MLB’er and future HOF’er “Sneaky Piggy” who has snuck into an elite club who’ve reached 500 HRs /3K RBI; the MLB injury bug bites down hard on Chicago’s Southside while the Northside is bumping along at sub-.500; MLB ump Angel Hernandez gets absolutely zero love; former Cub Kyle Schwarber goes absolutely apeshit; NBA playoff updates are covered, as well as a post-mortem of the Bulls dashed playoff hopes and the near future; the Bums prepare for the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, and close with a quick review of a new hobby picked up by Rocky and Paddy — Pickleball.

The second half pops off with Rocky being grounded from his pilgrimage to Ireland; the Bums discuss herd immunity (no more masks) in airports, airlines and other public spaces; the Bums discuss Eddie’s version of “Home Alone” (kind of a reverse FBDO) , including a scathing review of The Batman movie;  Chez Eduardo opens up their back party deck; a new S.I.M.S. segment roasts Mayor Lightfoot’s new campaign strategy; as double-nickel closes with Paddy’s run-in with a cranky old man.
