Bomb, Davey P, and Jeff talk all things from glory days of their athletic careers to 2020 celebrity deaths. If you want spend your last night of 2020 or first day of 2021 listening to something different, then Bomb in Thought is your go to place as always. Happy New Year everyone, BOMB's AWAY!!!!
Merry Christmas from your favorite asshole, BOMB! Little boozy, lot of F-bombs. BOMB repeatedly loses his train of thought (and runs off on multiple tangents) throughout this episode, but stick with him because he dishes out some absolutely nuclear takes while debating some Christmas classics. Towards the end, BOMB talks about his newest 2020 disappointment.
BOMB returns on election day 2020. We dive into some deep and controversial topics on today's episode, but nonetheless it is a must listen. First episode in a while, and it feels GOOD to be back.
Bomb is all alone on today's episode, so he takes some time to deliver a statement about recent events. Transitioning as best he can, Bomb Thoughts include mostly Movie/ TV thoughts with a small sprinkle of Gamer thoughts. As Bomb struggles to reach 30 days of being sober he talks about some anniversaries that may have been forgotten amidst the current climate. Bomb also delivers a 4.5/5 mushroom clouds Nuclear Take about the poor attempts of cinema and television to include diverse characters. There is also a short In Memoriam about the days of summer relaxation before Bomb parts with some words of wisdom. May not be the best episode, but it deserves a listen nonetheless.
Today's episode tries to encapsulate some of the greatest memories through a 5 year friendship as BOMB is joined by none other than his resident jarhead friend Bob. The episode kicks off with a short interview to give you some insight on the man that is Bob (00:00:55-00:12:58) before the two talk about the state of the UFC for a little (00:13:00-00:29:53). Most of the episode is taken up by "In Memoriam" (working title) as BOMB and Bob reflect on the glory days such as: a very sh*tty senior prank (00:29:53-00:42:24), BOMB's poor attendance at their High School graduation (00:42:25-00:45:29), BOMB and Bob's Black Friday Tradition (where you can learn the story about Bob's Spread 'Em Philosophy) (00:45:30-00:53:34), Bob's "funniest" military stories (00:53:35-01:10:19), and finally the details from a spur of the moment road trip from last summer (01:10:20-01:36:37). No Nuclear Takes this week, but a few Debates are brought into question as BOMB and Bob have two very different brains (01:36:38-01:48:56). The episode ends with some closing thoughts (01:48:56-02:02:05) regarding the potential end of quarantine in PA, BOMB maybe getting a sobriety token, and some stories about getting pulled over.
Sorry for the late release again, but shit happens. BOMB is joined by his potential co-host Shwill. They discuss movies, some current events, revel in old memories, and of course Shwill deals out a few fat jokes (and also does some drunk exotic dancing). At 00:11:10 Shwill takes the episode into Movie Thoughts where they give their Movie of the Week recommendations, and discuss some other movies. At 00:22:57 Shwill also directs the episode into some Sports Thoughts where the boys discuss the Flyers and Eagles new COVID-19 updates. BOMB also exposes Shwill as a fake fan. At 00:33:48 Shwill once again (apparently he maybe wants to be host!?) directs the pod and starts an impromptu draft of our 5 favorite holidays. At 00:48:00 BOMB brings Nuclear Takes and Debates back again, with another extremely Nuclear Take and a couple of lighter debates. At 00:59:00 BOMB introduces a new segment (that might need a name change) and the boys talk about all things #DisneyDix including their G-word best friend relationship. The later parts of the episode (last 30 minutes) include Shwill's reasons for the Shwill and Dyl Pod not being as active as it should, BOMB's current health, Mike Tyson returning to boxing, hands on head recovery posture is a lie, and living safe IS living in fear.
Today's episode includes the first ever recurring guest. BOMB is exhausted after a 7-day booze bender, and his guest is drunk after a day of golfing John Daly style. We cover the usual BOMB thoughts, but then the conversation starts to take a wild turn at the last third of the episode (1:00:20-end). If anyone can get us in touch with a dairy farmer, poultry farmer, mule expert, Napolean Dynamite (Jon Heder), and/or Matthew Lillard let me know ASAP because we need their insight on a few things discussed in this episode. Also, we try out a new segment called Nuclear Takes and Debates (00:53:30-1:00:00)
If this episode sounds backwards, well... that's because it is. After recording this episode it was realized that it would sound better with the interview first and the BOMB Thoughts after. BOMB starts the episode with a Mother's Day Special interview (00:1:27-00:35:29), and no it is not scripted, but when the questions were made, the answers were somewhat anticipated. Opening Thoughts start differently than the last two episodes, and mention the beaches reopening, an under-delivered comedy special, and Coronavirus Anti-Body testing (00:35:30-00:46:06). He then transitions into some BOMB thoughts that include: Gamer Thoughts (00:46:08-00:54:10), Movie Thoughts (00:54:14-01:06:50), and Sports Thoughts (01:06:53-01:20:30). Closing Thoughts are for a little congratulations to this years college graduates and especially those cum load graduates (01:20:35-1:21:16). The episode is a solid 6.9/10 and is definitely saved by the great interview. Enjoy!!!
Fired up and ready to Rock 'n' Roll with the second episode, BOMB delivers thoughts about a potential COVID conspiracy (00:01:10-00:04:40). He also includes a few brief thoughts about some happenings in the sports world (00:04:45-00:09:20), before introducing the episode's fantastic guest and giving initial thoughts (00:09:30-00:11:40). This episode dives DEEP into movie thoughts (00:11:45-00:30:30) and gamer thoughts (00:30:38-00:48:18). In this episode's cooking thoughts (00:48:20-00:52:40), famous British chef Gordon Ramsay may or may not make an appearance. A brief segment called "My Roommates Hate Me Because" details a few potential reasons that BOMB's and his guest's roommates may absolutely hate their guts (00:52:45-00:55:00). A brief interview is conducted on this episode's guest, and before the closing thoughts, BOMB and his guest talk about chugging technique. As always... ENJOY!!!
The first ever episode starts with your self-centered, egotistical, and endlessly sarcastic host introducing the show and giving a few thoughts on the COVID-19 pandemic (00:00-05:30). The show then steps into a one of a kind interview with two of the driving forces behind this podcast getting started. This week's Bomb Thoughts include: movies/tv shows (08:08-19:07), a brief bit about dogs and Helen Keller (19:07-22:00), video games (22:08-25:10), and sports (26:07-42:50). BOMB digs into his guests' thoughts about the end of their college careers (42:53-57:11). This show has multiple endings like a poorly scripted movie. Enjoy!!!
