Hey everyone, we've got a little bit different of a podcast for you this week on Bone & Beam United. With Beam out this week enjoying his vacation, Bone invited the Nerd Association guys (Chops and Daniel Barnett) on to have some fun.
On this week's show, they breakdown the 2005 film Green Street Hooligans, a movie about football hooliganism in the United Kingdom. The guys discuss everything about the movie: the cast, the plot, what they liked about it, where they felt the film had its flaws, and more. After that, Bone tells a story about the time he experienced a real life Green Street Hooligans situation at a Crew game (31:21).
Next, they look back on the West Ham United vs Columbus Crew fans brawl back in '08 (36:21). Finally, they wrap up by giving some final thoughts on the movie.
Big thanks to the Nerd Association guys for jumping on this week - check them out here:

We'll be back next week with a regular episode!
This week, the boys talked about the UEFA Champions League Final, which saw Real Madrid defeat Liverpool to claim yet another European crown. But just as big of a story was how Liverpool supporters were treated outside of the stadium on the way to the match. How did UEFA screw this up so royally?
Then, the guys switched to talking about the Columbus Crew's 2-1 win over Atlanta on the road, and what that means heading into the international break.
Other topics of discussion included Brenden Aaronson on his way to Leeds (and why Leeds is guaranteed to get relegated this season) as well as Robert Lewandowski deciding to move on from Bayern Munich. Plus much more.
Interact with the guys on twitter, and give us a follow as well!
PLEASE NOTE - This podcast was recorded on Wednesday before the USMNT game was played, so none of that was discussed. Timing is everything with podcasting, that's what they teach you in podcasting school.
On this week's episode, Bone and Beam open the show reacting to the comments made by Caleb Porter where he decided to throw his team under a bus for Saturday's performance against LAFC (1:42), enjoy Zlatan Ibrahimovic's rousing locker room celebration after AC Milan's Serie A title (17:11), and discuss Kylian Mbappe spurning La Liga to sign a contract extension with PSG (19:57).
Of course, Bone celebrates Sunderland's win over Wycombe and finally being promoted to the Championship (23:55), and they wrap up the show previewing this weekend's Champions league final between Real Madrid and Liverpool (31:40).
Like the show? Hate the show? Want to go to Sunderland with Bone? Well, the last one likely won't happen, but you can give the boys your feedback on this or any episode - @BoneBeamUnited on twitter.
On this week's show, Bone and Beam begin talking about the report that Lionel Messi will be acquiring 35% of Inter Miami, that he'll join the team next summer, and what it would mean to have him playing here in the U.S. (1:49).
They then dive into the 2022 MLS player salaries and what could be holding MLS back from continuing to grow as a league (14:17) and give credit to the Crew for being one of the top spending teams in MLS, while also explaining where they need to go next to improve the team (20:29).
Then the boys react to the good news of the USWNT getting equal pay of World Cup money moving forward (25:15), look ahead to Decision Day in the Premier League and sort through some of the possible scenarios (37:40). And finally, Bone tries to speak a Sunderland win into existence in hopes of them being promoted to the Championship in England (46:04).
As always, hit them up on twitter with any thoughts - @bonebeamunited.
This week, the boys discussed Miles Robinson's injury and what that will mean for the USMNT in the World Cup this year; Erling Haaland is signing with Manchester City; FIFA is out of the video game business; and the children of rich people seem to not always be awesome.
Plus, Vardy vs Rooney goes to court, and some important soccer anniversaries are discussed as well.

This week, Bone and Beam look at the Crew's 3-0 win over DC United. What went right, what was different, and what of that performance is sustainable going forward? They also weighed in on the growing discord between the soccer media in Columbus and Crew fans. Bone offers his theories on why there appears to be a chasm between the two right now, while Beam added his thoughts on what the differences are between fans and the media. There was also a discussion about a team the Crew should imitate, and a team that is imitating the Crew.
Switching gears, the discussion after the break went heavy on Champions League. Villareal thought they were going to get a miracle run to the final, until Liverpool shattered their dream. And speaking of shattered, City fans are left trying to figure out what went wrong, after having Real Madrid buried on their way to Paris (insert Undertaker wearing a Rodrygo jersey gif here).

This week on the podcast, the guys tried to figure out what's going on with one of the biggest agents in world soccer. Weird reports coming out of Italy on that front.
Plus, the Champions League once again gave us all a game to remember (9:30). What can we expect next from Manchester City and Real Madrid? Liverpool seems to be in a great situation after their 2-0 trouncing of Villareal. Is there anything to worry about with a comeback though?
Then, the guys switch to the Columbus Crew (38:25). Gyasi Zardes is traded for GAM, no one can score any goals, and the outlook is bleak. What is on the horizon for the Crew as they need a goal scorer in the worst way? As always, you can follow the guys on twitter @bonebeamunited and let us know what you think of the show, Champion's League, Columbus Crew forward options, and/or what beer you're drinking this weekend (hopefully something from @ZaftigItalianV ).
