In honor of National Osteoporosis Awareness Month, Tamara Scerpella, MD, Christina Morganti, MD, and Andrea Spiker, MD  join AOA hosts Charles A. Goldfarb, MD, FAOA, and Alexander Aleem, MD  to discuss bone health in Sports Medicine and osteoporosis in younger atheletes.
 
Drs. Scerpella, Morganti, and Spiker draw on their extensive experiences as athletes and as experts in sports medicine  to  discuss topics including :

• How osteoporosis impacts younger athletes  
• Educating younger athletes on bone mass
• Risk factors for osteoporosis and identifying cases early on
• Osteoporosis related injuries
