It's time for a new Thursday one-shot! For the next four weeks, we'll be zooming around the solar system in a cigar-shaped rocket, protecting the inner planets from all sorts of danger! The system is Cosmic Patrol from Catalyst games. It means to capture the golden era of science fiction, drawing inspiration from Buck Rogers, The Lensman, John Carter, "X Minus One", and more.

This episode, we meet the characters, and begin the mission. The crew members of the U.S.S. Roddenberry have to stop a comet that is careening towards Sol while emitting signals of odd origins! Will they be able to determine the source of this erratically behaving phenomenon???

Here it is, everyone! The last episode of the Fiasco Home Invasion one-shot we ran at GAD-Con 2013. All we have for this episode is the final montages. Here's what we rolled on the aftermath.

Carlin: White 2 (Merciless)

Jeff: Black 5 (Rough)

Jeremy: White 7 (Weak)

Johnny: Black 10 (Pretty Good)

Jordan: Black 1 (Horrible)

Stephanie: White 2 (Merciless)

After our (rather dank) montage, we give a bit of commentary about how the session went.

We hope you've enjoyed this Throwback Thursday re-run!

Cast:

Carlin as Harold Dinkins

Jeff as Dan Macchio

Jeremy as Leroy Jenkins

Johnny as Michael Warner

Jordan as Thor Grumbacher

Stephanie as Joy Campbell

And now it's time for some more commentary! We talk about the characters' motivations. We also talk about how Jorus, with his "get-the-job-done" attitude and mind-reading ability, influenced the group. Mike and Jeremy talk about how different TV characters influenced their initial character concepts. Jordan talks about how hard it is not to lead the characters. Jeremy mentions how hard it was to avoid meta-gaming.

Mike received a character point for advancing Valentine Montecute the most, particularly in his mentoring relationship with Brother Benedict. Johnny got the character point for best roleplaying. The introduction of Jorus caused a maturation of the group. Johnny got the point for best snack for bringing home-made jalapeño poppers.

And it wouldn't be a bone throwers session without some bad, bad puns.
