Today I want to share a profound shift that I’ve learned that we have permission to not be perfect. This may seem obvious, but we actually do expect perfection of ourselves most days. And, when we fall short of this perfection, we make it mean that we are a problem. 

This massive permission piece. That you can allow yourself permission to not be perfect is going to be a huge breakthrough for you.

If you’re tired, overweight or not looking perfect, do you have the thought that maybe you shouldn’t show up today? Do you have the thought that maybe you shouldn’t go live today? I want you to override that thought.

The only thing that allows you to shift your story is to consistently show up no matter what. You can’t have perfection and consistency at the same time. Choose consistency over perfection because then you’re still growing, trying new things and stretching.

I’ll say it again, if you’re tired, or overweight or not looking perfect, that’s fine. It’s not a problem. And, you making a mistake is also not a problem.  

What you are doing is enough. You have permission to show up naturally everyday.

While death is typically seen as a taboo topic, the death process can be a very helpful and healing process in our lives. Death is the antidote to fear and can lead to us finding pleasure in our lives. Remember, if we are afraid dying then we are afraid living.
