This is Part 2 of the second message entitled, "I Am the Vine". If you have not already done so, please listen to the previous part to hear the entire message. 

Building off of the message from last week, we learn that God wants to produce fruit in us, but we must let him complete his work in us. 

This week in the book of James, we look at the command and precepts that are given in James 4:7-10. This message shows:

We continue in our "Tale of Two Kings" series in 1 Samuel 22. David seems to be running for his life wherever he goes. But what he doesn't realize is that God is growing him from being a shepherd to being a king.

In John 15, Christ said," I am the true vine." The same way that a grape vine produces grapes, we as Christians are to produce fruit. But we must abide in Christ (the vine), and he will produce the fruit in us, and will prune us to make us what we need to be. 

Continuing our series in the book of James, we come to James 4:5-7. James teaches us about our need to be humble and shows us the recipe to humble ourselves. The way to be humble is by submitting to God.
