MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY 

13th February 2023 

As we go to record this episode, it is 3 days since the tragic shooting at Michigan State University, which left 3 dead, and 5 fighting for their lives in hospital. Another tragic event that just happens to be even closer to home than usual for Katherine, as a former student of MSU. 

We await many more details as the case unfolds and will return in a fuller episode when we know more but already the case has some intriguing aspects that don’t fit what we usually see in a shooting at an educational facility. 

Is there a link between the 43 year old shooter and the campus that we are yet to discover and if not how unusual is it to have a university shooter not related to the campus in some way?
