Welcome to this pulse-pouding episode of Bonus Barrel!

In this episode we tackle a few things! We read some bot comments from our website, gab a bit about free to play games and move onto all kinds of news. We cover a lot, including the possibility of Ryu in Smash, Hoopa in Pokemon, Rob gets existential and we also talk about Guitar Hero Live(and a lot more). Amiinews is full of what you expect in Amiinews as well as Rob going on anger rant. Lastly we go to the topic of the show: games that started their series and are better than all their sequels. We're likely wrong but if you don't agree then let us know on twitter!

In this episode we talk about ... Rare's Conker's Pocket Tales. This is a retro game released on the Gameboy Color way back in June, 1999. What a time! What a time to be alive. Can you imagine the anticipation you must have had to get this game home and rip it open? Well, we missed out on that experience as kids but we decided now is as good as any time to play this game. Welcome to this extremely exciting episode of Bonus Barrel!

In this episode we talk about a few news articles(that is not related to Nintendo Direct) and then dive in to discuss the events revealed in the latest Nintendo Direct.

The Smash announces were exciting - especially the Smash Ballot so we all brought in 2-3 suggestions of characters that would be really cool to see in Smash. We also come up with a plan to get Seigi into a game.. to get him into Smash.. to finally have him attain his dream - to become an amiibo. We also argue about Mario vs Sonic (in a fight). We talk about all the other events of the show (Yoshi's Wooly World, SMTXFire Emblem, Pokemon Rumble, Puzzles and Dragons Mario, Street Pass Update, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart).

It's all pretty fun!

In this episode we talk about the game.. Kero Blaster! Kind of a big deal if the hosts opinions count for anything. This is a retro-styled run and gun game that came out relatively recently. Created by the same guy who created Cave Story (One of Seigi's all time favorite game). The game is a blast, and just as fun to talk about so give it a listen!
