Are you going after the wrong goal?
Is your goal to be able to trust your dog?
Is your goal to not want to be afraid of something bad happening to your dog or because of your dog?
Is your goal to be able to have relaxed non-training dog walks?
Or is it to be able to be calm under all circumstances?
You might be chasing after the wrong thing.
