Christian Hildebrandt reached out to his mother Kimberly via text mid-day on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Mother and son saw each other the night before—even sent texts back and forth that morning—and everything had been fine. But all of a sudden, he was asking for her help, and his text message wasn’t completely making sense. What followed, was devastating.
