Friends and family were unable to reach nineteen year old John Paul (JP) Parton beginning mid-May, 2021. Though he was facing some personal struggles at the time of his disappearance, he had a support system, and it was unlike him to completely cut off all communication from those who were closest to him. Christian Hildebrandt reached out to his mother Kimberly via text mid-day on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Mother and son saw each other the night before—even sent texts back and forth that morning—and everything had been fine.
