FORMING HABITS:

A habit is an action you perform without thinking.

Common Bad Habits:

  • Mindlessly scrolling social media or obsessively checking email or chat features.
  • Arriving to work late or slacking when no one else is looking.
  • Good Habits to Implement:

    • Have two set times a day to check your email.
  • Arrive to work on time, whether physically or virtually, and be prepared to create value for your career and for your company.
  • Making Your Presence Felt
    • Check in with your boss or manager consistently, but avoid spamming their email.
    Building Relationships
    • You will experience rejection, but you will also build invaluable relationships.
  • Send quick emails to connect with co-workers.
  • Have a 15 minute virtual coffee break on a zoom call with a colleague.
  • Remember: While good habits can lead you towards success and the life you’ve always dreamed of, bad habits can stop you in your tracks.
