Today we talk about the upcoming event of celebrating's Mia's fifteenth birthday.  A very important day that marks the transition from being a child to a young woman in many Latin cultures.  I must admit in several parts of this podcast I incorrectly refer to this event as a festivo, but the correct term is simply festejo or fiesta.

Vocabulario:

Festejo, Fiesta -- Party.

Festivo -- Holiday.

Maquillaje -- Makeup.

Pintar --  To color (hair) or to put makeup.

Vestidos -- Dresses.

Tirar fotos -- To take photos.

Lo tengo que pagar yo -- I have to pay myself.

Depende del lugar que sea -- Depending on the place it is.

Virando -- Going back.

Escojer viaje -- To choose a trip.
