On Jan 6, 2021, at the same time as the US Capitol was under attack, Dan was interviewing Rev Madison Shockley for the February 2021 episode. Madison and Dan were fully aware as they spoke that a violent insurrection was underway. A year later, Madison and Dan reflect on that riot and on the memorial day honoring Martin Luther King Jr.
