The Monkees celebrate their 50th anniversary with a brand new — and really good — new album called 'Good Times!'

The record is filled with songs from some well-known writers, many of whom you might not expect are Monkees fans. Those include Paul Weller (The Jam), Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie), Andy Partridge (XTC) and Rivers Cuomo (Weezer).

Dad Rock hosts Jim Lenahan and Patrick Foster are joined by USA TODAY art director Jeff Dionise, who has been a Monkees fan since an early age (five to be exact!). The guys each pick one new Monkees song and one older, making for a fun and lively Bonus Track.
