In this episode, we discuss Rhys’ visit to the Spring Court! We have a few really interesting moments that add to our Lucien theory (we first get into this theory in Episode 11 titled “Was Lucien trying to team up with Hybern all along??!” starting at 48:27). Then we get into a bunch of smaller discussions about how things work with the curse, and things between Rhys and Tamlin and Lucien, particularly wondering about Rhys and Lucien’s relationship (why does Rhys know the Fox mask is fitting for Lucien??) And then of course dissect the foreshadowing around Feyre’s subconscious interest in Rhys. We also pull out Chapter 54 from ACOMAF and have some interesting discussion comparing Rhys’ perspective with his performance here. This chapter is super iconic (particularly with all the begging and High Lords brought low).
