Book Recap: My 2021 reads so far...

Listen Later

Hi my friend, I'm so glad to be back-although very briefly- after a while. This is the last episode of season 1 and I'll be back in another month with so much good stuff and lots of new, interesting and regular content for the show so don't be a stranger and keep in touch with me and send me your feedback on the show so far so I get on the right track!

As for today, I'm rating and talking about my reads in these past 6 months and sharing with you my recommendations and thoughts on them. Please do send me your book recommendations as well, I'm always looking for something new to read. Today I discuss:

  • One of Us is Lying by Kate McManus
  • Circe by Madeline Miller
  • A very large expanse of sea by Taherah Mafi
  • the night circus by Erin Morgenstern
  • Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
  • A tale of two cities by Charles Dickens
  • And the mountains echoed by Khaled Hosseini
  • Born a crime by Trevor Noah
  • All the light we cannot see by Anothony Doerr
  • Being mortal by Atul Gawande
  • I'd love to stay in contact during my intermission and would love to hear your ideas for the next season. I am also looking for a pen-pal to write very aesthetic heartfelt letters too so if you're interested hmu. Thanks for Daydreamin with me during these episodes and I sincerely hope I entertained you or taught you something new, see y'all next month inshallah!
